We are a small mom and pop locally owned restaurant that has been serving the East Brainerd area for almost 40 years. We sell burgers, fries, onion rings and chili, as well as, specialty sandwiches, and daily specials. We also have daily home made desserts. Call, drive through, or come inside and have a seat!

First time here even though it’s known as a great local spot. I’d say the burger is 9/10 for what it is! Food was fresh, hot, and service was great. Definitely has a dinner feeling to it.

Today I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak all the way with a side of onion rings which were rather large and delicious. The Philly was one of the best I have had and sure beats the big chain restaurants. I asked for a fork and they brought me this fancy 3 prong elegant fork in its on plastic wrap. Excellent food and service. Highly recommend.

I don’t recommend no one to eat here at this restaurant. They don’t clean up. The hood vents are nasty. They take the hamburger meat left over and they resell it for the next morning. They pre-cooked the hamburgers and cinnamon in a pot on the stove I mean on the on a flat top I wouldn’t highly recommend no one they’re nasty I will spend my money at the one on Lee Highway. They are clean and very friendly. This one in East Brainerd they got the hood vents are nasty. The floors are real greasy. If you look behind the fryer, they got french fries crud all on the on the back of the walls with a deep fries that look like they ain’t been cleaning years I mean it’s grease buildup all back there in the back. I wouldn’t recommend nobody eat there. Go to Lee Highway and spend your money. Don’t go to East Brainerd

After rave reviews, we gave this little burger joint a try. Although it was decent, it didn’t live up to all of the high ratings and reviews. The burger and patty melt were average on flavor. Nothing special. It isn’t any better than a burger cooked at home. The food was served hot and fresh, but nothing remarkable. The service was a bit strange. It was almost as if the servers didn’t understand any of the customers. We ordered off the menu. A simple order of a Cheeseburger and onion rings took 3 tines to explain to the server. Maybe she was new? I know there are other items on the menu, like their chili dog, we wanted to try. Maybe we ate on an off day? It wasn’t terrible at all, but nothing special either.

I missed the old Armando’s so it’s been awhile since I came back to give it a try. Well it is as good as the old Armando’s. Easier to order, pay and take out. But most of all the value and the taste of the food is great. I will definitely come back.
