Probably the NASTIEST place I’ve ever ate at! The guy sneezed in his arm and I watched it spread across his gloves then he just shrugged his shoulders as he tried to continue fixing my food. After asking if he would change his gloves he continue shoving food in my sub with his fingers

The Gurley Subway is my favorite fast food restaurant in town. The Subway app makes it easy to order ahead and earn reward points towards discounts. The Chicken Bacon Ranch melt is my with extra cheese is my go to sub.

I order a home style chicken salad but All I got was chicken and nothing else.
He also got smart with me on the phone.
He also asked me what kind of cheese I would like to have
I just figured that when you order a salad you would get lettuce.

The boys working were so pleasant.. BUT THIS IS THE NASTIEST SUBWAY I EVER ATE AT. THE BREAD WAS OLD. The Veggies were old. Even my kids that eats anything IMMEDIATELY pointed out they were nasty. The shop wasnt the cleaned but it wasnt the NASTIEST either.

Employee had problem with cheese because it came straight from freezer. The cheese would not peel , the employee started pulling of hunks of cheese and throwing them at the bread. I started to leave but I had already left Burger king because they would not wait on me. If you come in Gurley hungry , keep moving.

Very much not happy with the way the little boy working today 5/18/23 around 2:45pm rolled his eyes and mumbled something under his breath as me and my son walked in. I asked him what was said and he of course said nothing. Then said he was just angry he had made a sub 35 minutes ago and still hadn’t eaten it. There was a whopping one person inside. He was not busy. But none the less. Very very rude!! I left to allow him to eat his sub he was clearly too busy to tackle and let him know somebody else could have our money. But definitely needs to be taught better customer service.

Easily some of the most ignorant employees I’ve ever met. The guy behind the counter proceeded to complain about having to do his job. Huffing and puffing anytime someone walked in. Couldn’t even got a full sentence out before he started interrupting me. Quite literally the worst subway I’ve ever been too.

Seriously shame on yall for leaving a young boy there on a Sunday by himself!! He is just now making my subs that i ordered over 45 mins ago..I hope my food is good at least oh and did i mention the boy was in no rush at all..update it took a whole HOUR to get my food made

I stopped to use the bathroom quickly and one of the workers was finishing up in the bathroom from doing a number 2 and washed his hands with water only. They were out of soap. He returned to work and i didn’t notice him washing his hands. I thought this was nasty!

This was my first negative experience at a Subway restaurant. I walked in. No one was out front. I waited approximately two minutes. A man came out from the back mumbling to himself about boxes. No greeting. I smiled and said “Hi!” He replied with a scowl and mumbled “Hi.” I was sympathetic when I asked him if he was having a bad day. He angrily replied that he had been there for two hours and all he had done was unpack boxes. He said he hadn’t set up his restaurant. I then asked for a foot long vege delight on multigrain. He took out the roll and barked “cheese?” I asked for pepper jack. He snapped: “Toasted?” I said no. He asked what I wanted on it. I asked for extra tomatoes and spinach and then everything else except jalapeños and onions. He put on the tomatoes, spinach, lettuce, cukes and pickles. I asked if he had olives and he barked: “No. I haven’t had time to set up my bar.” I said that was OK and paid. No thank you. His tone was very unprofessional and I didn’t feel welcome at this Subway at all. I have never experienced such poor treatment like this in ANY retail store/restaurant and it sure left a sour taste in my mouth on my first visit to Alabama from Maine!!! This person needs to be taught that the customer comes first. It was utterly appalling.
