HORRIBLE experience. We drove 45 minutes to try this place. Get there and there is a wait. That isn’t a huge deal because it is a friday but what was a big deal was driving 45 minutes, waiting 30 minutes, getting seated and getting told when we go to order that they are out of mashed potatoes and they are out of cheese so they aren’t serving either types of baked potatoes. So we had fries (if I wanted fries I would have gone to mcdonalds), green beans, salad, and roasted vegetables to choose from. NOT what we wanted. Only to see, after we had been told that and just settling for whatever we could get, tables that were sat before AND after us all getting food brought out with mashed potatoes and baked potatoes on their plates.
We both ordered our steaks medium and mine came out medium rare IF that and my husband’s came out blue (literally just warmed and still blood red and cool inside). $70 meal and the ONLY reason we ate it is because I have stomach issues that if I dont eat quickly when I start getting hunger pains, I will be doubled over screaming in pain from my esophagus spasming. This was an absolute joke. No offer at a discount or ANY attempt to make any of the issues right and the server basically ignored us when I made it clear I wasn’t happy after telling us “well you could just leave” no linda I cant because if i dont eat something soon I am going to be in horrible pain.

I’ve seen grade school lunch tray salads assembled with more care. Also served on a less than clean plate. The meal arrived before the appetizer, and the steak while it had a great grill flavor, was a poor cut of meat, very tough and full of gristle. Also, the steak was overcooked. I asked for mid-rare, and it was cooked to med, med-well.
Out drinks were served in Styrofoam because they had no clean glasses, a d there was zero management presence in the dining room.
Probably will not go back.

Was looking for an out of the way place to ride and get some catfish for dinner. Found this unique gem. Very rustic lost in the woods steak house. Can’t say how the steaks are but the catfish was good. Sides were very good. Service was top notch. Prices for steaks were very reasonable. Will have to go back to try one.

Oh. My. Lanta. First time here. Hubs and I came here for the pre-Valentine’s Day special. They were out of New York strip steaks, so they subbed ribeye steaks. We ordered ours medium with sides of loaded baked potatoes and green beans.
Let me say that the food was absolutely phenomenal. I’m on Monjauro, so normally, I don’t eat much. The steak was melt-in-your mouth, smoky, and juicy. Perfectly cooked. No salt and pepper needed. The green beans… it’s been a minute since I’ve had some good down South, full-of-flavor green beans. The baked potato even had a smoky flavor. I should have saved the soft yeast roll for the steak juices.
The cinnamon rolls were all gone, so we ordered the chocolate cream pie and the berry cheesecake. I swear my grandma made the chocolate cream pie and angels pulled the cheesecake out of heaven.
The service was a bit slow, but grace covers that because it was very busy. The only downside to the experience was the condition of the bathrooms.
Only pic I got was of my amazing husband and his Alfafa hair glowing in the lantern light. Didn’t even wanna pick up my phone because the food kept my attention. Will definitely be back.

Neat country steakhouse with great decor. Excellent ribeye! And the grilled salmon was delicious too! Sides great and service was impeccable! We had a great date night and can’t wait to return the homemade ranch was something to write home about.

They had a Valentines special ran out in a hour, we got there at 5 waited over an hour, substitute the New York strip with a rib eye. Hats off to the meat cutter I believe they ran the steak through a sandwich slicer it was really so thin it just pulled about, so I believe the special was a scam to get you there,
The wait staff was good. But over worked, they need more waitress to help out, since there were alot of empty tables not being used for lack of help.

Me and my husband ate here for the first time tonight. We got Kelli, only her second night, and she did fantastic. Super friendly. Fried mushrooms were great, crunchy and not greasy or soggy. We both got the ribeye medium rare, mine smothered in mushrooms, and they were the best steaks we’ve ever had! So tender and full of flavor! Roasted veggies also delicious. Salad was just as good. Husband loved his twice baked potato. Not a single complaint. We will definitely be back!!

Do yourself a favor and get the ribeye with fresh cut portabella mushrooms! One of the best steaks I have had! The rolls are so good and even the blue cheese dressing is homemade! Daughter loved her catfish and the green beans were so flavorful! We will be back!

First and last time ever eating there. Steaks were tough but really good flavor. That’s it. The rest is trash. Waited so long to place a drink order the hostess said let me get those for you. For the prices they could have splurged for some butter or salt for the roasted vegetables they came out completely burnt tasting. Heck for the price they could have splurged maybe just a little to put toilet paper or even hand soap in the restroom. Yep said it, even the employees didn’t know the hand soap is in the restroom. Please somebody update me when they put the sign up “Any Employee Caught Washing Their Hamds Will Have Their Bandana Revoked “. Plus a month ago they commented and said toilet was fixed, yep no still broken, just fixed it with a trash bag.
