Ps: if you like peanut sauce with your spring rolls, then it’s not the place to go (see photo).
They did offer a good take-out service.
Had a large group 12 people for dinner. The staff was very attentive and polite.
The quality of the food was very good. Menu selection is the standard affair as most Vietnamese restaurants but the presentation was better than usual.
The prices of the food items is quite reasonable but you will get your best value if you order the combos and come with a group. I would recommend getting dinner for four. You’ll have 2 starters and 4 main dishes to eat from.
We were there yesterday and the food isn’t as good as it used to be. Their menu is nicer though and easier to read. The deep fried Banana with ice cream was supposed to come with vanilla ice cream, but it came with chocolate, it was good otherwise. We ordered two lime sodas and both were different from another, one with lime and one lemon, the pho was very bland and such a small portion for a large size, spring rolls weren’t as good either as it used to be, vermicelli with shrimp on sugar came and spring rolls was decent, the Jelly fish salad with shrimp and pork was the only thing that was really good and highly recommend. Service was okay as they got busy and only had 2 servers.
My whole family, parents and I have been customers since I was in diapers over 30 years ago and the former owners always treated us like family, and their food was great. So to compare, the food has changed a little.
They have a full menu including pho, vermicelli, salad and many varieties of dishes to order from.
They also offer many set menus for 2 including appetizer ( soup and spring rolls) and a main course with rice starting $42/2 people.
However, I find the food to be “ all right”.
1. Vermicelli was served in a dish and vermicelli’s were all broken up. It means it was either over cooked or stayed out for a while so they are all broken up.
2. Spring rolls are small and overwhelmed with carrot taste…..
3. Fried calamari was chewy and batter was brown and stale.
4. Green tea ( with charge) was weak. Despite the fact asking to add a second tea bag to the individual pot; it was still bland. Perhaps they should change the tea bags used.
5. Principal dishes beef with lemon grass and chicken with broccoli were 4/5. Although they were served on plates , they did come with quite a bit of sauce and the portion was small. ( sauce tastes very similar from each other with the exception beef had chilly added to it. ).
Overall, not a very good Vietnamese restaurant food but the ambiance was nice and place was spacious and clean.
