My mom and I always went to the hog wild in Midlothian! We were soo sad when they closed but where happy to see this one is not too far. We catered for our cousins reunion and decided to sit in and eat. The customer service was super great from the register to the table staff. The restaurant has a great scene with tvs and its a big dining area! My mom ordered the salmon and I had the tenderloin sandwich with loaded tots. Both meals were really good.

The corn was so good! Came with all these delicious goods. I ordered a mini coleslaw too. Totally glad I did.

Where do I start? Wrong order was delivered to table and it was insisted that was our order. It literally took 3 staff to visit our table to confirm. Food was poor at best. As you see in the photo, one bite taken from the burger, had an odd taste. Pulled pork did not have much flavor. Even our grandson didn’t like the grilled cheese. He loves grilled cheese. Best thing about it was the fountain diet Pepsi. Do better for almost $50. Never again.

My fiancé and I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment for the first time, and it was an exceptional experience. The pork chops were arguably the best we have ever had. I opted for the Brussels sprouts, while my fiancé chose the baked beans, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our sides. The cheese curds were among the best we have ever tasted, and the pickles were excellent. James, the manager, is extremely friendly, and the restaurant offers weekly specials, which I have included below. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a friendly staff. Although we chose to carry out, we had the opportunity to briefly speak with James. On our next visit, we plan to dine in. It is worth noting that the restaurant charges a small credit card fee, which is a nominal percentage that does not impact the menu prices, making it an affordable option. Additionally, there is an ATM conveniently located next door at Bank of America. We will undoubtedly return to this establishment in the future.

Ordered takeout for a chicken philly on a pita and a regular chicken sandwich with fries cooked crispy for both.
The fries were pretty cold and not crispy unfortunately. I don’t live far enough to blame it on the drive home lol. A little on the pricy side. Overall though, decent food.

Good size portions of food for the money, but quality of food is average, large portions of cheap meat.
Had the prime rib sandwich with oven brown potatoes. My wife had the chicken pita. Both were good. The brown potatoes were more like a crisp hash browns square type of browns.
The dining area is large and open seating, bus boy kept area clean and tables ready for seating. They have a separate large private dining table and self-service soda machine, and the staff was quick and friendly. Prices on menus and specials were mostly fairly priced ok.
Be warned that they do charge Credit Card Fee $$ to customers, which I was not aware of at the time. I FIND IT UNPLEASANT WHEN CUSTOMERS HAVE TO PAY FEES for business expenses passed down to. Customer’s.
So be prepared yo pay extra $$$.
Large parking lot, which is difficult to park in and shared with a strip mall.

Have not been to the Oak Lawn location since it opened. I would always go to the Midlo one years ago so have not been in a while.
Fried Pickles were on point! Nice an hot an crispy. Then my main came out looks awesome right!? Food was room temp at best. Couldnt feel any warmth when you ate the loaf. Tatos were the same, corn…..the same. Gravy was hot. So i decided to send it back. Told them everything is basically room temp. They “Remade” it. Came back out with smaller portion of potatos and corn. New meatloaf was warm but not hot.
Was kinds bummed out about the situation cause i had a killer craving for Meatloaf. Overall flavor, meatloaf would have been great if it was atleast hot. Potatos ehhh, corn was good.
I just hope Midlo location isnt like this. They were on point all the time a while back.

I specifically asked for extra mayo on the side, which means placing it in a small container with a clear lid. Instead, they put extra mayo directly on the sandwich.
When I called to ask about it, the cashier with the black hair and glasses said that she told them to put extra mayo on the sandwich. I said that’s not what we told you — we said on the side. She doesn’t listen or follow instructions.
Then there was no plasticware in the bag. When I asked about it, I was told that management said not to give it out after 5:00 PM. That is so dumb and some BS.
I will never go back there again.
