All Bengal is a Bangladeshi grocery shop with a small dining area on the side where you can sit and eat. We tried their mutton, mixed vegetable with rice, somucha, and milk tea, everything tasted really good. The flavors felt very close to authentic Bangladeshi home-style cooking, which we really enjoyed.

We visited in the evening, and some additional food items weren’t available. That might be because we went later in the day, so availability could vary by time.

We also bought sweets (Chomchom and Kalojam) as gifts. Personally, we didn’t love them, but our friends said they were very tasty and reminded them of Bangladesh, so that may come down to personal preference.

Overall, it’s a good spot for Bangladeshi groceries and comfort food. It’s not a full restaurant, and the atmosphere/environment could be improved. Compared to some Indian and Pakistani restaurants nearby, the ambiance is simpler. Upgrading that could attract more dine-in customers.

One small thing I found funny and memorable, the restroom signs were labeled in Bangla slang: “পোলা” for men and “মাইয়া” for women. That touch of humor really made me smile.

Let’s address the elephant in the room first—cleanliness. A few air fresheners could work wonders, and the restroom could definitely use some serious odor control. That said, expecting a spotless, top-notch Bangladeshi (Deshi) food store is almost an oxymoron—Deshi cooking is gloriously messy, and keeping everything pristine is no easy task.

Now, onto the good stuff: the food. It’s genuinely authentic and delicious. I’ve been coming here since 2009 whenever I visit Houston, and the flavors remain true to their roots. The plain rice with daal and Ruhu fish was excellent. The Hilsha fish leaned a bit on the salty side and could use some tweaking, but it was still enjoyable. The sweets deserve special mention—very tasty and reasonably priced.

Overall, it’s a satisfying experience if you’re craving authentic Deshi food without emptying your wallet. My humble suggestion to the owner: keeping the place smelling fresh would elevate the entire experience—though I suspect this advice may once again fall on deaf ears.

All Bengal Store is absolutely amazing! I had a fantastic experience shopping here. The quality of the products is top-notch, everything is authentic, fresh, and exactly what you expect from a true Bengali store. They have a great variety of items that are otherwise hard to find in the US, and the prices are very reasonable too.
The staff is extremely polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. They make sure you get what you need and provide excellent customer service every time. Delivery/checkout is smooth, and the overall shopping experience is just perfect.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for genuine Bengali groceries and a wonderful shopping experience. I will definitely keep coming back!

Best authentic Bengali food (Bangladeshi food) place. If you are in Texas and specially in Houston obviously try food from this place. I took Rui macher jhol and beef curry, the mach was 10 out of 10. Later we took misty doi(sweet yogurt), it was also really good and tasty. People sometimes confuse Indian food and Bengali food but trust there are differences and for tasting different cuisine you should visit this place.

Pure Bangladeshi food. Yummy. Loved the taste. I think it’s very popular. For Pooja celebration it was completely full today. Can accommodate 55 people and nearly it was full. Various Bangladeshi menu items. We tried ilish with sorshe bata, daal and chicken curry with rice. Fresh and hot. Nothing fancy about inner decoration but it was clean. Good customer service. Mr Shojeeb brother, the owner was helpful and good to talk to. Above all the sweet is awesome. Not very sweet but perfect. Sondesh was so Yummy. Fresh and soft. Pure gurer shondesh. People were buying in pounds and taking home. Must visit for food if you are in Houston. Very happy. Will go again.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the hygiene at the restaurant. I purchased balusai, kalakand, and chum chum. For a sample, I was given a taste test, and there was a hair in it. Additionally, I bought rice and ruhu fish. Both the rice and the fish had hair in them. I have a picture showing the hair in the fish.

Perfect Bengali sweets in a reasonable price. Don’t miss their rosogolla. It’s the best. They have freshly made puri, samucha and singara. We tried the mouth watering fuchka (panipuri) and it worth the price.
