Food was good service was great I ended up getting the lunch special the Mongolian beef which was really good. It’s just a bummer you can’t switch from white rice to fried I had to buy a whole plate of it. Lucky it was 2 of us cause I would have never finished all that by my self. Chicken fried rice wasn’t even all that good next time I’ll stick to white rice.

1000% will be back to this restaurant and recommend if youre looking for an amazing meal! The noodles were perfect – I love spicy food, they do spice levels 1 – 3, I got a 3 and it was a good level of spice; just perfect! Their tea pots are so cute and they dont skimp out on the quantity. Everything was super tasty, the general manager and employees were super attentive, everything was nice and clean. 100/10 recommend and hope to return soon!

Another very tasty meal. Very friendly and warm service but a little too much lag time before getting waters etc. I assume understaffing at the holidays. Steamed fish is delicious. We will be back for sure.

Delicious food. Healthy choices. Fresh. Excellent service. Super easy to reserve a table, online. A bit of a wait with no reservation. They take your order right away and serve accordingly. We were in and out, once we were seated, in an hour.

The food is really yummy but I feel they are 1000 calories each with tons of sodium or soy sauce.
We started with a brussel sprout and green tea. It was yummy but was so salty and oily. I ordered white meat Ma la chicken and my wife ordered rainbow shrimp . We both liked our food but again it was so salty.
I will certainly go back but this time I will ask them to be easy on sauce.
The service was great she was attentive and caring . The atmosphere was warm and cozy .

I mostly rate based on the food, the main reason I dine out. It has been a while since I dinned with China Moon and feel the food has declined considerably. Their house fried rice is no longer an item. They just serve fried rice with egg and some greens (very sparce) and you choose soy, no soy, protein, etc. Or, Thai Basil Fried Rice, which is not very Chinese. The flavor was not nearly as good as when I first found them. No Yangzhou rice on the menu! Moo Shu was disappointing. Instead of thin cut pieces of protein that wrap up easily it was random chunks of protein. Same for the rice, big chucks. Both of the dishes required me to finish the job by cutting up the protein to better mix with the rice and roll with the moo shu. I get the impression they have adopted fast food techniques to produce more revenue. In otherwards, all of the protein is prepared and thrown into the dish as it. One the positive: Wonton soup was good and chock full. They serve the NY style egg roll, an east coast favorite. Hard to find. They are extremely nice and attentive.

Visited during the evening on a Saturday and had a wonderful visit.
Delicious food, wonderfully cooked with great flavor within their sauces(Sesame Chicken and Orange Chicken).
The Calamari was very fresh and tasted great with the sauce provided.
Will definitely be planning to come back each time I’m in town!

We ordered a takeout at China Moon! We had the orange chicken, fried rice, and Mongolian beef. The orange chicken was delicious—perfectly sweet with just the right amount of crispiness. The fried rice was absolutely spot-on, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
The Mongolian beef, while tender and well-seasoned, was a bit too spicy for my taste, but I can see how spice lovers would enjoy it.
The portions were generous, and the service was friendly and efficient.

If you’re feeling like Chinese stir-fry dishes, just go here. It’s one of my favorite restaurants to go to in south OC and it never disappoints. The plates/portions are for family-style dinning, which is great because you get to share many of their awesome dishes. That being said, I would recommend this place for solo dinning, unless your fine taking home a lot of leftovers.
My recommendations: Crabmeat Wontons, Sesame Chicken, Beef Lo Mein, Sautéed String Beans, Ma La Chicken, Beef with Broccoli

Established neighborhood restaurant that serves delicious Chinese food. Best entree was the roasted duck with crispy skin. You can get the bao buns for $4 more dollars to put the duck in. Comes with plum sauce and cucumbers and green onions. The moo shu was an appetizer portion that was huge, 4 good size portions and ordered the pork, full of flavor. The appetizer of the short ribs had good five spice flavors but the ribs were tough, not tender at all so wouldn’t order those again. For $.99 cents get the crispy wontons, comes with red sauce and hot mustard. Lo mein was basic, got the vegetables but could have used more veggies. Great service, fast food to table.
