We love visiting Diners, Drive Ins and Dives restaurants and this one did not disappoint. You could tell it was being made to order. We got arepita pabellon and apreita asado negro. Both were delicious and filling. The service was great! Stop here for a perfect lunch spot.

Absolutely delicious! We had the arepita sampler, the fried yuka, & the arepita pabellon and loved all 3. The pabellon (shredded beef, black bean, sweet plantain, & cheese) arepa was truly fantastic especially with the garlic sauce. Friendly service as well…we’ve already planned what we’re ordering for our return visit 🙂 Can’t wait to try their avocado chicken salad arepa!

Uhm AMAZING. The empanadas were so good. Not greasy at all!! And i had a CHICHA drink. That was filling by itself. And then i ordered something that was delicious. It had plantains beans chicken and cheese. Check the pictures. They have a second floor, which you can look over the river. So good! Friendly staff, and it was my first time. I will be going back again to try other items because I am a foodie.

Got the arepita with the shredded beef. It had so much flavor! Very well cooked. Black beans had a good flavor as well. Plantains cooked well. Barely any cheese…. like comically. For $14 you think they could add enough cheese for the dish. It was on the show Diners, drive in and Dives!! Recommended

So here goes. As usual, I’m always blunt and honest. The restaurant is on the first floor, and it’s confusing as to what to do. There is limited signage. You order at the counter, and then you can sit. Food will be brought to you. There is limited seating on the first floor. There is a long staircase upstairs that leads to additional limited seating. After ordering we waiting almost an hour for food. We were told that there was a fire in the kitchen. However, there were tables around us being served fairly quickly. I ordered something that I was unclear about. However, it was good. The empanadas are excellent. Even though we waited longer than we should have, the food was great quality. Our table was dirty when we sat, and it took 30 mins or more before it was wiped. It was not fully cleaned but just wiped down. So, the food is delicious. The service and wait was very frustrating. The decor is very nice and fits the location well. While it was great food, I won’t be back because of service and lack of communication.
