Came in on a Wednesday a half hour before closing. I was greeted warmly and seated immediately, as I was the only one in the restaurant dining. Even though I had heard great things about the peking duck, I asked for recommendations on other dishes. My waitress was totally clueless and appeared somewhat exasperated as she threw her arms in the air responding “I don’t know.” She finally settled on the sweet n sour soup and I didn’t ask any more. I ordered the ground beef egg roll which I found underwhelming, the soup was delicious and of course the peking duck which was also good. Didn’t blow my socks off, but I did enjoy it. Moist, tender and delicious crispy skin. The duck could’ve been flavored more, but maybe that’s just me. Nice portions and fairly priced. The atmosphere was very pleasant and I did have an enjoyable experience. The waitress really needs to brush up on her customer appreciation skills.

Decided to stop by this place after a friend recommended for their Peking duck. It didn’t disappointed us and the price is very competitive. Lunch menu is also good. The restaurant was crowded, they have private party for 100 people.

The food came out so fast. We were hungry too so this was awesome. The egg drop soup was amazing. I wish I saved space for ice cream.

The Peking Duck and the Seafood with Sizzling Rice Soup are definitely the highlights here. Whenever I crave Peking Duck, this is the place I come to. The portions are generous too, which I really appreciate. The only downside is the service. Don’t expect the servers to be friendly. They often sound like they’re upset when they talk to you.

I used to think the food here was excellent, but I think it’s only good when you eat in. I don’t know if they have a new chef or new management, or they are cutting costs, but something is not right.
The past week, I’ve gotten carryout twice & both times I was very dissapointed. On Friday 2/6, we got 2 Lg Wonton Soups, 4 Egg Rolls, Tangy Pork, General Tsos Chicken & Hunan Shrimp. The food quality is a lot different when you order carry out. It was ordered at 2:30pm. The woman at the front asked, “Do you want lunch or dinner?” We picked dinner. I think they just charge you more & you get a quart of soup instead of a pint. The total was $74. The Hunan Shrimp was basically a ton of broccoli with a few shrimp The shrimp had an off putting taste & was either old or overcooked. I think it was reused. It was insanely chewy & rubbery. We both tried one & then decided it was inedible. We brought it back the next day & they did give us our money back, but only after trying to push a gift card first. The Tangy Pork is what we always order when we eat in & that was not good either. It tasted funny & had so many carrots. The egg rolls have tiny particles of ground pork sprinkled throughout them. I would rather pay more & they be of better quality. It was very disappointing as I had given this restaurant 5 starts before based on how great the food is when we eat in.
The carryout portion sizes are mediocre. I feel like the prices are the same for dining in & carryout, but when you dine in, you eat a whole meal & still leave with just add much food as when you order the dinner size in the black plastic containers.
Old Review:
They have authentic Cantonese Chinese food. Even their receipts are in both Chinese & English. The prices are very reasonable. They start you off with hot tea, homemade fried noodle, homemade duck sauce & hot mustard. Today we got 2 eggrolls, 2 Wonton soups, Shrimp with mix vegetables, Spicy Pork, Chicken with Black Bean Sauce & Crispy Beef (which was so good!) Then, they finish you off with Sherbert. It was $81 to dine in. And we had soo much food to take home with us.. literally had 3 fulls qts of food with a qt of white rice! The staff here are so nice & I look forward to returning whenever I’m in the area!

I don’t usually leave reviews on Google Maps unless I am really impressed. This was one of those times. The food here has been consistently delicious. This is the 3rd time I’ve eaten in the restaurant & I have never been dissapointed. I ordered different entrees each time, and they have all been incredible. Huge portion sizes when you eat in, you can eat & still take home a whole quart of leftovers. The waitress is nice, and very attentive. I will continue to come back.

Just ordered carry out online here for the first time. White meat orange chicken with fried rice, I requested no vegetables in my fried rice and it was perfect! Food was delicious and enough for 2 meals! This is definitely my go to restaurant now! And it was even ready early. Thanks for an excellent experience!!!

Ordered carryout General Tso’s chicken, came with an extra pint of pretty blanched broccoli. After eating a few of the chicken pieces, they seemed spongy and undercooked. Well about 15 minutes later, I was doubled over with severe cramps followed by an urgent trip to the lav. Thought it was a fluke. Next day, I ate the remainder of the spongy chicken and low and behold, same thing occurred Something was direly wrong with the chicken, spoiled chicken or some toxin but clearly the chicken was spoiled to have that violent of a digestion response. I will not be returning and I will be notifying the health department, something at this restaurant is clearly wrong. No stomach viruses or sicknesses going around, so clearly attributable to the food.

Shrimp fried rice was the best dish we had today. Shrimp was juicy and the rice was flavorful! Peking duck was our second favorite. It was a bit dry and the skin was not as crispy. It was also not the airy light crisp. It was not the best peking duck but probably the best in the neighborhood. Sesame chicken was nicely fried, had much flavor and crunch to it. However, sesame chicken and the beef dish tasted so similar to Panda Express. Very crunchy, extreme sauce and tad too sweet. In my opinion, there’s no need to pay the extra money to have it at Hunan.
Hunan Delight is definitely one of locals favorite and I see that a lot of Koreans also like H.Delight, I saw tables full of Koreans. I am sure they’re coming for the duck. However, I can’t say it’s one of the memorable Chinese I had. It’s not authentic but more of Americanized Chinese. It’s good but not memorable.

My husband and I are always looking for a decent Chinese restaurant. We happened to be in the area and decided to try it out. It was very busy when we entered. The lunch specials are a bargain! I got the crispy hot beef and it was absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed the wonton soup. I would definitely recommend and will drive the 45 minutes from my house to eat here again.
