First time here and it’s was good. The chip were good the salsa was ok. The brisket tacos were good. The beans were alittle salty. The Jaime Guiso was flavorful. Overall we had a good experience. We’ll be back to try something else. The wife said the frozen Margaritas was really good and my beer was cold.

We had been here once before and we had to come back. As we were looking over the menu, I snuck in an order of their Red Oak Queso. My boyfriend was shocked when the waiter brought the bowl of happiness to our table. I told him he can not be mad about it if he likes the taste and of course he loved it. High five to getting away with stuff .

After another successful closing with 2 hours before the next appointment, we decided to try a nearby restaurant. Mamacita’s was close and none of us had ever eaten there. Una mesa para tres por favor. This was a great choice. The location was perfect for us with easy access to I35 North or South, the enchiladas were very tasty, Jackie provided excellent service, the prices were extremely good, the weather was perfect for patio dining but we decided against it due to a table umbrella issue. Yes, there was only one table equipped with an umbrella. Overall, this was a pleasant dining experience.

Staff very friendly. Chips and salsa pretty good. We got combo fajitas, but was disappointed over them. The meat is served on queso. They don’t even come on a sizzling skillet, set up is guacamole and a tomato wedge. This item doesn’t match the high price for them. Probably will return, but will try another item.

Female server skipped over us multiple times. And knowingly avoided us and would not make any eye contact after hugging a couple that arrived after us
and served them chips, salsa & drinks! And another party entered and she did same to them but cleaned table for a 3rd party that entered also served them chips salsa and waters. And avoided us again. Very disappointed. Especially since a very
flood friend recommended. Only a one star because unable to post review without selecting one. Cause there would be No star at all. I’m not one to say racist but in this case the shoe certainly seems to fit… both tables… BUT other tables being
served were not our or the other parties being ignored and unserved same ethnicity.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. Entered on karaoke night, a Saturday, and sat down to wait for server. Walked in around 6:30 and about 5 minutes later a couple walked in, sat down like us, greeted the server with a hug, and immediately was served with drinks as well as chips and queso. It seemed as though there was only 1 server, so we patiently waited another 10 minutes while we watched the woman clean 1 table and sit another couple. After that, the same woman came back with chips and queso for that same couple. The family next to us even shook their head in disbelief, and the server would not make eye contact with us nor pass by our table. At that point, we felt ignored and unwanted so we left.
Additionally, there was a black man waiting at a table that she had acknowledged and did not clean his table immediately like she did for the other couple to be seated. I hate to bring in racism, but it seemed as though she was catering to the white couples in the restaurant.
I feel as though the serve knew what she was doing. She knew she did wrong by ignoring us not once but TWICE.
Would not recommend based off of this experience, sadly.

The waitress said get the brisket. I got the brisket. 6.5 / 10 stars. Came with a gravy / consomme. To me brisket should stand on its own. Birria comes with sauce, brisket in Texas, does not. Tuesdays are $6 enchiladas and figured i should’ve gone that route. There will be another Tuesday. Go. Try.
