Went on a whim while in White Rock. Totally disappointing. Service was really bad. Didnt get menus for too long. Got Crispy Cauliflower Bites and Dahi Kebab which were cold and not too good in taste. Left just after eating that and didnt feel like eating anything else. Not recommended.

Such a lovely experience! Great food, cozy vibe, and the warmest service. We had dinner on the patio Friday evening and absolutely enjoyed every bite. The noodle spring rolls were fresh and made in-house (so much better than the usual frozen ones!), the tandoori soya chaap was packed with flavor, and the Amritsari paneer kulcha with a dollop of makhan stole the show. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

Yesterday, I celebrated my 50th birthday at this restaurant. The service was not bad, and our server was very nice and polite. However, I was disappointed with the food and overall experience.
The prices are very high, but the portion sizes are extremely small. For example, the Manchurian dish was a very small serving for four people. The veggie platter had only two pieces of paneer tikka and two kebabs — definitely not worth the price. Our total bill was over $150, plus tip.
What made it more upsetting was that for my 50th birthday , they brought out the birthday cake without candles. It may seem like a small detail, but on such a special milestone, it really matters.
Overall, the service staff was kind, but the portion sizes and pricing do not match the value. Unfortunately, it was not the birthday experience I had hoped for.
My daughter booked for us. We all was quiet upset.

Had an amazing experience at this Indian restaurant. The food was full of authentic flavors, perfectly spiced, and served hot and fresh. What really made the visit stand out was our server, Arsh. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations. Service was quick, professional, and welcoming throughout. Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend to anyone looking for great Indian food and top-notch service.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent order. I paid $15 for chicken but received only four very small cubes, which is completely unacceptable for the price. Not only was the portion tiny, but the food also lacked taste and was not enjoyable at all. To make matters worse, when I asked about the portion, one of the staff members was rude and dismissive, showing no respect for customers. This combination of poor food quality, bad value, and unprofessional service makes it clear that I cannot recommend this restaurant, nor will I be returning in the future.wastage of money and time

Sky, Sia and Sophia served us and trust me they were really amazing! Sky is a manager I believe and she tried to solve all my problems, for instance it was my cousin’s birthday so I had a cake with me and Sky made sure to keep it in the fridge and bring it to the table right on time which was right after dessert! She also provided us with heat outside which made us warm and comfortable since it was quite chilly that day! Sia served us food and she was really sweet! Also Sophia served us the dessert and again she was amazing too! Thank you Sky, Sia and Sophia and the great chef! You made our first experience to Ambar Surrey, White rock pretty amazing so I would go there for the second time too! I hope to see you all again and once again thank you so much for your amazing service❤️

I recently visited Ambar Surrey, and I have to say—it was an amazing experience. The restaurant has a really nice, modern vibe while still keeping that traditional Indian warmth. It felt cozy and classy at the same time. the staff was super friendly and made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal.
