We discovered this restaurant a few months ago and have been coming back almost every Sunday since. Everything we have eaten is great. The atmosphere is also a reason we came back. Everyone here seems like they know you personally. It’s just a really great place to eat and relax with friends and family.
The food is absolutely delicious they have barbecue ribs, meatloaf, pot roast, baked chicken and the sides are absolutely amazing and tasty! I can’t say enough good things about this place.. also nobody can’t beat their prices.

Great food and amazing people. Loved the chopped pork and the best onion rings we have ever had. Most importantly we were both impressed and touched by our young waiter, Allen. He wasn’t just nice to us but we observed Allen’s kindness to several elderly customers. Allen sat with them, called them by name, and patiently took their orders and served them as he would his own grandparents. We were there with our 16 y.o. grandson and he even commented as how kind Allen was.

This restaurant has been around a long time and is a little rustic. The food and service were good. Recommend the chopped with red slaw. Family owned and run, I’d heard of this place for years as friend used to work there, 40+ years ago!

All the food was over cooked. The servers weren’t friendly. We aren’t picky eaters, but we couldn’t even finish our meal. It was an overall terrible experience!!

A good old establishment and mainstay in Concord NC. Their BBQ is Lexington style or Western NC but with their own sauces that you get a choice of. Slaw is the essential topping and side to a great BBQ sandwich and theirs is excellent. It is a traditional red style with cabbage, vinegar, tomato, and spices like you get in Lexington. The BBQ is lean with a few crunchy burnt ends. I thought a little sauce was just what it needed to moisten it up and make a yummy NC BBQ sandwich.

Lexington style barbeque that is tender and flavorful, complemented by excellent baked beans and your choice of red or white slaw. Portions are generous. Pay careful attention or you may drive by the non-descript building. This is one of those places where all the locals eat; that should tell you all you need to know.

Me and my husband tried this place on a whim because it was getting late and we couldn’t quite figure out what we wanted. Seeing as he is a kitchen manager at a BBQ restaurant, he had his own expectations and they were blown away. We had the chopped BBQ sandwich, fries, and hush puppies and a side of ranch to go with the fries. Everything was delicious. I usually dip my hush puppies in butter but these were so buttery and soft that I didn’t need to. Everything was so so good. The atmosphere is cool because it has exposed brick and the kitchen is open so you can see everything that’s going on, without it being loud. Whenever we went to leave, we were told that someone had paid for our meal. The kind woman at the register explained that the people who eat here have been coming for many years, and whenever they spot a new customer, they will usually pay for their meal. I thought that was very sweet. She explained that it is a good community based restaurant and I couldn’t agree more.
