Went here based on a TikTok video about the oxtail pizza and I must say I was quite surprised. I ordered ahead of time and went inside and saw a very clean and friendly working staff. Food was ready when I arrived 20 mins later and the pizza looked amazing and tasted even better. Extremely filling so it took a few days to finish but it was quality. My wife got the turkey leg and cabbage with Mac& Cheese combo and really enjoyed it. We’ve decided this place will be in the regular rotation of places to get food from. Looking forward to returning. The food was all fresh and although its a liquor store it was up to code with reasonable pricing. Well done.

This my first time going here and sadly will be my last. Got a 2 piece fried pork chop dinner the pork chop was ok could have been seasoned more, the Mack-n-cheese was super bland the greens taste like they were cooked in mop water and the yams were absolutely horrible I didn’t Know yams was supposed to taste that bad.

I can say with my whole heart, this was over hyped. The fish was good and fried hard. The middle was meaty. The greens kind of taste like glory greens but I can deal with that. I was most disappointed in the Mac and cheese. It taste like cheeseburger hamburger helper with no ground beef. Just an orange creamy sauce with cellentani noodles.

I don’t mess with everybody’s soul food but this was actually pretty good. Mac is solid and the pot roast was very good. That pepper gonna hit you in the back of your throat with the cabbage but its good. You do have to keep reminding them of your order cause they have a lot going on. Overall worth the trip.

The stars of the show were the wings, roast, cornbread, biscuits, green beans, mac, mashed and loaded potatoes. This was our first time ordering, so we tried many items and we were blown away. The savory pizza was delicious, and the dessert pizza was good too, but didn’t standout. Takeout is a luxury for many of us, and this is well worth the cost. Generous portions at a fair price with incredible taste.

Came here off an Instagram review from Donny (IG: donnylb) … And I must say, it did not disappoint … For the most part! I tried the catfish (9/10), spicy garlic honey wings (8.5/10), chicken tenders (7.5/10), Mac and cheese (6/10), collard greens (6/10) and cornbread (8.5/10)!!! If you’re not a fan of seasoning or salt, be careful with the greens, tenders and Mac, otherwise you’ll enjoy the well seasoned items! Service was a tad slow and there were several items sold out that I wanted (ox tails, turkey wings and beef ribs), but I guess I will give them a bit of grace since EVERYONE in line and on the phone was there because of the IG review. Anyway, I’ll definitely be back, since I think I’ve found a new fave!

I’ve been seeing this place on tik tok so I chose today to try it. First time there I’m giving a 3 star rating I ordered a 6 piece wing dinner, my macaroni and cheese is burnt it smells burnt and it tastes burnt even tho it doesn’t look burnt not sure what that is about, the chicken and yams are delicious I really wish my macaroni wasn’t burnt like that it’s literally my favorite food. Besides that service was ok, the girl at the counter had a wonderful attitude with everyone in front of and behind me I guess she didn’t like me too much she was very dry with me and I said thank you a few times to her with no answer back however I would have given 5 stars had the macaroni not been burnt and yes I ate a few forks of it thinking something had to be wrong wit my tastebuds but it isn’t.

I have to rave about Hunter’s Pizza, Chicken & Soul Food’s catering options!
I hosted a Galentine’s party for about 50 women and noticed they had pasta on their catering menu, so I called to ask how many people each pan would feed. From the very first call, the experience was AMAZING.

The owner was so pleasant, accommodating, and patient with my questions and special requests, he truly made me feel like a VIP. I ended up ordering two full pans of chicken Alfredo, and let me tell you… it was an absolute HIT at the party! Everyone loved it.

When I arrived for pickup, they were clearly busy, but the customer service never missed a beat. They were still attentive, kind, and professional.
What really stood out was how thoughtfully my order was packaged in catering boxes, and one of the young men even offered to carry everything out to my car.

Great owners, great food, and top-tier customer service.

Thank you, Hunter’s, for such a wonderful catering experience. Keep those standards high! The whole staff is amazing!
