We ordered a cheese burger, a chili dog, a slaw dog, chili cheese fries, fried green tomatoes, and fried pickles.
This is the first place I’ve seen in a LONG time where you could get good food at a great price.
I mean is it the best ever? We’ve eaten at some really amazing hole in the walls and I’d put this up there with a few of the better ones. If I had one disappointment, it was the fried green tomatoes. They were pretty much burnt beyond recognition but that was the only negative. However, the chili cheese fries were probably the best I’ve ever had, so I can’t be too mad.
The service was great as well.
If I were in Dallas again and wanted a quick (but not fast food) lunch, I’d go back to Pop’s. I’d also recommend this place to others looking for the same.
Well idk what food they got because mine was cold and I waited forever for it too. It wasn’t even busy, we were the only people in there. Service was horrible the cashier had an attitude to begin with. Wasn’t friendly at all. Wanted to be on her phone more than work I think.
There was a roach that crawled across the floor too that’s when I decided to leave. I asked for a refund on the horrible food but the heavy set unfriendly cashier refused.
I definitely don’t see what food everyone is saying is good.
I will definitely not be back.
I will let everyone I know not to go as well.
Nasty place, windows were nasty bathroom was nasty plus cold food and bad service. I wouldn’t give it a one star if I didn’t have to
Stay away
The slaw dog with the pepper relish was really good.
right down the road. We had to wait on the traffic to die down and spaces just to get in to eat. Before we got here and didn’t wait very long to get served even with the large amount
of people. I will say the people who run it are always nice and accommodating to the kids and always willing to fix a problem if one is had. I will say this, when you go to order, it’s probably best to leave your attitude at the door because no on but yourself should have to deal with whatever issues your having. Her comments from the get go as we were leaving were less than to be desired.
