I am very disappointed with my recent Chipotle order.
I ordered a full bowl with steak. The portion of meat was extremely small not even a full spoon. When I asked if more meat could be added, I was told I would be charged double, even though the original portion was clearly under sized.
On top of that, the employee separated everything into three sections in the bowl instead of properly serving it. The meat amount was far below what is normally expected for a full order.
This experience did not match Chipotle’s usual standards.

I visited this location on March 4, 2026 between 7:30–7:45 PM. I come here fairly often, but I wanted to share feedback about a male staff member who I believe is the shift manager (Caucasian, around 6 ft tall with brown hair and a short beard).
During several of my visits over the past year, I’ve noticed that he frequently speaks to both customers and employees in a rude or dismissive manner. The overall attitude creates an uncomfortable environment and seems to affect how efficiently the line operates. When the staff is being spoken to that way, it appears to slow things down and causes the line to become more congested.
I really feel for the employees who have to work under that kind of environment, as well as the customers who interact with him. I hope management can address this, because the rest of the team generally does a good job and the location could run much more smoothly with better leadership.

Update: Decided to try again, and it was worse. It was busy and they still had the chairs stacked at 9pm. One guy ate on the booth side with chairs stacked on the table because their couple high tables were occupied with the permanent stools. It was dirty, trash cans overflowing inside and out. No iced tea. No corn. No sour cream. I’m done with this place. My burritos wasn’t great this time either.
Decided to stop in around 9pm to eat in before work (graveyard shift). From the outside it looked as if they were closing. All of the chairs were stacked on the tables. Kind of odd, they advertise they are open until 11 and the guy behind the counter confirmed this. But if you look around the place it looked as if they were closing in a few minutes. I got my burrito and drink, only to see they didn’t have the usual tea out. Containers gone. I would not have bought a drink if I knew if it wasn’t available. Also there were zero napkins available, I had to walk to the counter and ask. The floors were a disaster. Someone had started sweeping but stopped halfway through. I had to step over mounds of trash on the floor. I sat at 1 of the few tables that didn’t have chairs stacked on them (because they are high tops, their stools are bolted to the floor). My burrito was fine, hence 2 stars instead of 1. Overall the experience was very
unwelcoming. If they just want to do takeout after 9 or whenever, they need to state this. I was obviously an inconvenience to them. I will happily go elsewhere before work when I want to grab a late bite.
I get wanting to get a head start on cleaning and closing duties, but you were 2 hours out, not 10-15 minutes. Not a good look.

This super noisy fast food joint used to be tolerable despite the frigid stainless steel ambiance. However, all three of our lunches were watery and unappetizing. We won’t return.

First I want to let you know that I am a true connoisseur of all things Chipotle. I’ve eaten Chipotle on average 3 times a week, with some weeks consisting entirely of Chipotle dinners. I’ve been doing this for almost five years now.
I’ve easily enjoyed 50+ free points entrees, just to put it into perspective…
I travel for work, and a little over a year ago I began work here in Chicagoland. I tried 7 Chipotles within driving distance to my rented townhome (Rolling Meadows) and this location was by far the best…so as always, I decided to make this one my go-to until something went wrong, because something ALWAYS goes wrong at Chipotle….
…but not this one. Everything has been consistently great. They keep it clean and they don’t skimp on protein. That’s a big green flag for me. And the staff…I won’t embarrass any of my young newfound friends by giving their names, but they are all so great. Big personalities, never in a bad mood, always happy to see me. I love the vibe here. And the locals! Mt Prospect should be PROUD of their young people! All of the local high schoolers come here on the regular and they are so nice. Good clean cut kids that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being around. It’s just a great place with great, consistent food and service. I will miss this Chipotle when I leave!

I ordered food for my mom and dad for my mom’s birthday. I ordered 2 barbacoa bowls and 1 large bag of chips & guac. My mom got home and noticed they only gave her 1 bowl with chicken – the whole order completely wrong. And my dad didn’t get his food at all. I called to speak with someone to get this issue resolved (I live out of state) and there’s no live agents that can help. You keep talking to an operator. Worst service or I guess no customer service at all. Don’t place online orders through their website. If they mess up your order there’s nothing you can really do about it.

They have reduced the size of the flour tortilla, the portion of meat is maybe 2oz you have to ask for a bit more of every item. The hot table holding all the hot food was very messy. So you pay $14 for 2oz of meat. All the servers behind the counter didn’t seem like the were paying attention and were anode i was asking for what I thought was a normal portion.

It took 30 minutes for them to make a simple burrito bowl. I asked them multiple times for attention and no matter how many times I asked them they just ignored me over and over. A woman said she will be with me in a minute but they ignored me over and over again. I will never come back here. This is the WORST chipotle I’ve ever been to.

$13 and she only put meat on half of the bowl. I wanted peppers and onions they only had a little and she threw that on and went onto other customers and didn’t check on the toppings asked for that weren’t ready. Cost to much for something not made correctly or to my liking
