The empanadas were truly delicious! Amazing service and wonderful people. They made me feel very welcomed and appreciated. Prices are very reasonable for the generous portions and craftsmanship involved. Everything has been made fresh to order all 3 times I’ve been! Highly recommend!!

OMG. I’ve never had Venezuelan food and had to ask what an arepa was. My meal here was ridiculously delicious. I’m vegetarian and it can be difficult to find dishes at meat centric food trucks. I got one of the build your own arepas with beans, cheese, avocado, and garlic sauce. And another that was just on the menu as vegan, and it is an incredibly tasty beet and potato salad with an acidic garlicky hot sauce to accompany it. Also: plantains! I can’t recommend this place more highly especially if you are a vegetarian.

I’ve never had Venezuelan food before, but everything we got was delicious. Different style of empanadas than others I have had, but tasty (fried instead of baked). The dipping sauces were amazing. If you don’t want something fried, I strongly recommend the arepas. They were fantastic.

This place is too good for Albany (sorry Albany). We have had stuffed arepas in Columbia, Mexico, and Las Vegas, and we are surprised to admit that our favorite stuffed arepa is in Albany Oregon of all places. The picture I shared is of the Venezuelana. It is stuffed with seasoned beef, avocados, black beans, and fried plantains. This is a common food in Venezuela. Don’t expect something quite Mexican though. I know it looks like a Mexican food truck, but I can tell you as a Mexican that it is a bit different but very good. It is served with the white creamy sauce which you might not know what to do with but it’s not salsa and it’s not ranch it is a garlic-based sauce. I really want everyone to go here and at least try it because the guy working in the cart told me that they might open a place in Corvallis and I would really like that to happen. In my opinion, I think Venezuelan food might be one of your favorite foods; you just haven’t tried it yet. If you haven’t tried something like oh I don’t know Guatemalan food, that’s okay! You do need to. Try this though. (Sorry Guatemala)

Los Vecinos never lets us down. It might be the 212th rice bowl they served that day or the 212th they’ve made for me over the past five years. No matter. We’re often at The Barn and all of the carts are good, but when I want the best…

This is a great little food truck at The Barn in North Albany. They offer a line up of tasty dishes, both big and small! The food is fresh and delicious. My favorites are the Pabellon Criolo bowl (beef, black beans, rice, avocado, platanos, garlic sauce) and the La Venezolana arepa (beef, platanos, delicious cheese, garlic sauce). Both great with a glass of red wine! The beef here is unreal – delicious seasoning and well cooked. The arepas are great if you are in the mood for a sandwich-style meal. They have vegetarian options too! Take a chance and jump into Venezuelan cuisine if it’s new to you – you won’t be sad you did.

Great experience with customer service, food, and recommendation from the server. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a beyond positive experience. I asked them to surprise me on the three flavors of empanadas and they were perfect. Will definitely be going back!!

Everything on this menu is amazing! We’ve visited a dozen times and consistently have the best meals. The sauces are incredible and are paired perfectly with each dish. You can’t go wrong with anything you order but I don’t leave without an order of tostones. The tostones are the perfect food! Don’t miss out!

The Barn is such a cool place to hang out and get drinks and food. Los Vecinos is a very valuable addition to their food truck lineup. I didn’t know what an arepa was, and the gentleman working was very helpful in explaining it and made menu recommendations. I had the egg scramble with cheese and ham arepa, and it was one of the best things I’ve ever had. I’ll be back for more! Highly recommend trying this food truck specifically.

This is an amazing find. Wish I’d known about them sooner. Have been back 2 days in a row and I’d go back a 3rd if they were open.
Have tried the empanadas, arepas and rice bowls. All exceptional, though the arepas and rice bowl are “healthier” eating out.
The garlic sauce is very tasty but the green sauce (Avocado, garlic, cilantro and lime?) is out of this world. Super addictive.
Clean looking truck, friendly staff, fabulous food. It’s a place you won’t regret trying.
