Pretty good for a fast food place normally, but past two times missing MAIN items.
Got my friend a McDouble meal tonight, no McDouble.
Last time we were short a similar burger for my daughter, who I let have mine and I just didn’t eat, except the fries.
Let it slip once, not twice in succession.
Edit : Manager was kind enough to replace my meal and missing items. +1 star for that

This McDonald’s (10042 Sliding Hill Rd, Ashland, VA) has become really unreliable. I’ve filed two customer service claims (34461951 and 34531140) and got nowhere. Case 34461951 was closed without anyone contacting me, and while I eventually heard from Natalie Farabee, the Operations Supervisor for this location, nothing actually changed.
The problems happen at any time of day — long waits, cold food, and unprofessional service. Friends and family in the area deal with the same issues, so it’s clearly not just me. They constantly tell you to “pull to the white line” or into curbside for simple orders, which just makes things slower and your food colder. Service can also feel completely different depending on who’s working, giving the place an uncomfortable “sundown” vibe.
In a separate claim, Natalie even used the phrase “making their service great again,” which felt totally inappropriate and like personal politics were creeping into customer service.
No one should have to waste 20 minutes just to get cold food. Fast food is supposed to be quick and simple….. this place fails at that. They need real accountability and to actually fix how they run this location.

This is the worst McDonald’s to go to if you need your food fast. Hint the name fast food. They will always park you if you order more than one item and take forever to bring it out to you. I will be going to the one on 301 from now on.

Bathroom always clean. Tables always clean and management almost made me cry and give hugs. Apparently a young lady employee was having a challenging morning and the manager and her came to the dining room and talk it out. I could not hear much but I thought management both encouraged, supported and respected the employee and it was so refreshing to know that there are still people in the workplace with a kind heart. Salute to the day shift managers and employees at this location

Very impressed with this McDonalds. We stopped here on our way home to NoVA from Richmond. The staff was polite and the service was quick. Food was great!

Me and my mother went this McDonald’s for the first time and ordered a McGriddle and breakfast burritos. It took almost 15 minutes for us to get them. When we received our meals the hasbrowns and burrito sauce were missing, went back in line to tell them we didn’t get them. 2nd time around still didn’t get sauce 🙁 staff seems slightly irritated by asking for the stuff we already paid for… 1 star for hot hashbrown

Just stopped by to get a coffee. It was served quickly and hot, not too hot but hot enough. Staff were friendly, the place was clean. Misleading on the prices. Display says one thing, receipt says another. When I asked the cashier, why the difference, he said, “I don’t know”, BUYER BEWARE.

So I got McDonald’s this morning for my children. And when I got the bag, I checked and noticed my pancakes isn’t there. So I was like “okay? Lemme just go in and tell them they forgot my pancake” So I went in and told them and they gave me some free pancakes which I thankful for. But when I got home, one of my kids ran up showing that there was a 2 big bites already in the pancakes that were hidden under the top the wasn’t bitten. So I was confused. And my other daughter showed me that on her sandwich there was black stuff on it? Now I don’t know if it like that normally like that but it’s still really strange.

This is by far the best McDonald’s location I’ve ever been to. The staff is awesome the food is always good and fresh and I’ve never had a wrong order out of this location, also their ice cream machine tends to work more often than not.

Worst McDonald’s to go to for lunch. Always getting my co workers and I orders wrong and always have to park and wait 10-20 min for the food even when not busy. Ridiculous, today I did a mobile order 20 minutes before I got there and still got parked and waited 10 min for food making me late getting back to work.
