Passing thru we thought we found a great lil original spot. We ordered the special ; hamburger with side and drink for $12.99
Turned out mine was great , our friend said his was good, and my guys was way under cooked. I order all three well done. By the time I got back to return his plate they were closing and was like oh well. They didn’t offer refund, not a sandwich, not nothing. It was clearly still pink on the inside. The tomato slice on mine still had the top of the tomato attached. I was thinkin a lil more time to detail and this would be a nice place to eat until outside in front of the place a rat nearly ran over the top of my shoe walking away! I don’t think we’ll be back. The deserts she claimed to have made were not in sealed packaging and were a bit dry. We tried the banana , the lemon, and pecan cookies. On the bright side there were absolutely the coolest antiques on display but they are not for sale. On average their pricing was in line with other upscale restaurants but this is all set in conjunction with a stuckeys gas station. Meaning you could enter thru the gas station or an outside door. Really have mixed feelings about the place & was ready to give a great review until we found the burger that wasn’t fully cooked & the fact that they had the attitude of it not being their problem. Next time I would offer SOMETHING to accommodate the paying customer. Next stop will be the better business bureau for me-

One of the best hidden treasures I have found. The food is outstanding and hospitality is outstanding. I have tried the burgers, salads, brisket, chicken and the shrimp and ribeye. I have not had one meal disappointed me. I have brought my family members to eat as well. They are very pleased. You can have a party of 20 and have them do the catering for you at this restaurant. Very friendly. If you have not stopped by… you are truly missing out on some good home cookin.

The BBQ was amazing! Pulled pork sliders were a hit! They have different sauces for different tastes. Sweet, Medium, and Hot, depending on your preference. The baked beans were the best I’ve ever had! And… Christian music playing in the background. Couldn’t get a better feel for small town charm and home cooking 🙂 yum!

My daughter, husband and I LOVE this place!! The food is spectacular! A touch spicy for me but I manage to eat all or most of it. What I don’t finish I take home and finish it! The Mac & cheese is like mom’s homemade from scratch! The ribs!!! Ooooooo, so good. Brisket the same, All beef hot dog the same! All the sides great!!!

I just love this place. The food is great, love the burgers and shrimp plate. This is me and my husband’s favorite place. We’ve been so much they know what we want before me order. And I love how the owner will come and ask if everything is good course it is. But what we enjoy the most is when she sits and visits with us. Love this place

I RARELY write negative reviews. Look at my history. I pretty much LOVE to give positive reviews. But my experiences at this place really bothered me. I felt like I needed to say something. I have eaten here twice and both times had a not-so-great experience. The food was ok but the way the owners treated the employees was terrible. (I am assuming that the owners are a middle aged couple, the man who works in the kitchen and the woman who works out front…and they have younger folks working for them.) The first time it was the man in the kitchen belittling a younger person, raising his voice, in front of customers. It carried on for the whole meal, (we ate in.) It was extremely uncomfortable. But the second time was worse. There was a young girl at the cash register that seemed kinda timid, but very very sweet. It seemed like she was either new or maybe needed more training. She inadvertently made a mistake on my order, and was trying to fix it. Anyways, I was just patiently waiting for her to figure it out when the owner lady approached. She asked what the problem was. When she saw the mistake the cashier had made, she proceeded to humiliate her in front of me, which made the girl really nervous and her voice shaky. The owner then took over the transaction and said she was going to make the cashier pay for my lunch. I said no that is not necessary. There was no problem at all, everyone makes mistakes. The owner then said that the cashier should have known better than to make that kind of mistake, and again insisted that the cashier pay for my lunch. Again, I told her that I was not going to accept the food unless I paid for it…which she finally let me do. She then gave me a coupon card for a few dollars off my next order. I don’t intend to use it. I don’t want to spend my money in a place where employees are belittled, humiliated or mistreated. Sometimes, I actually ask people how they like working at their jobs, and the way they respond, factors into my decision to patronize that business. Even if this place had top notch food, my two experiences were not positive. Please treat your employees better.

We recently used the Cluckin Rub it was rated as a 10. Very tasty and easy to use. Ty for this awesome product, also the food was very decent not really greasy or salty. When we were at the Restaurant we enjoyed several items during our stay in the area. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. It didn’t disappoint. Blessings in this year ahead .

This place I would not recommend. I will never go there again. I stopped in on the way home from work because it was late and wanted to save time but that didn’t happen. I ordered chicken wings. which takes 10 minutes and waited a half hour on a to go order. I was first customer, Meanwhile, , they were serving other customers food with big plates after me. Customer service was awful.. The person who took my order was not capable of telling me about the food on the menu.. they area little twisted.

Just going to say the Cowboy Burger and the Brisket plates are my absolute favorites when I visit. A relaxed, calm and laid back atmosphere really brings out the down home feel of southern hospitality. And the wait times are usually pretty short and your ordered dish is ready within just a few minutes. With unique blends of spices, seasonings, and rubs to bolster their menu items, these guys are very efficient and masters of their craft.
