From the moment we walked in we were greeted by staff and patrons smiled as they past you. The entire staff was attentive and pleasant. Our waitress was amazing and joked with us, checked on us to see how we were enjoying our meal, refreshed drinks and brought bread without asking. Because who says no to their delicious warm bread and whipped butter?
The place was clean and plates were picked up and tables cleared Immediately. No one was in a rush or moving slowly and it no chaos. Everyone seemed to enjoy being there and so friendly. TVs around the bar displaying sports and the Olympics, not overly loud. You could hear what was on and still carry a conversation at your table. The lighting was perfect as if done just for my Food pics 😉
I can’t wait to go back!
The house bread is warm, crispy yet soft with whipped butter. The stuff dreams are made of
Calamari was perfect, not overly chewy and the perfect airy and crispy breading with the marinara that has the best consistency and not watery
Caesar salad had just enough dressing without asking for more.
Clam Chowder was The Best I’ve had in a long time. Every bite had clam and potatoes.
I had the filet mignon sliders with Parmesan crust and it was perfectly made medium with carmelized onions
Hubby had the chicken fried chicken sandwich and said it was ignorantly large and he loved every crispy bite. Did not even need the extra Mayo
Update 01/07/2024
I’m sad to say that I can no longer recommend Jameson’s Charhouse.
It went from being my favorite place to my least favorite place.
The new owners are destroying the business with all of their bad decisions and the direction they are taking the establishment.
The London Broil used to be awesome, with a mushroom brown gravy, fluffy rice pilaf, and broccoli….
Now it’s higher priced, super salty brown gravy without mushrooms that resembles jello, rice pilaf that recembles rice pudding and no broccoli.
I know times are tough, but if you’re charging premium prices, make sure you deliver a premium quality product.
Our server was very nice, apologetic, and on top of everything.
Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the kitchen staff and the new manager.
What a huge disappointment, to say the least.
I also want to say that I have dealt with Katie for many years at Jameson’s Charhouse and she was a phenomenal bar tender, waitress and always remembered exactly what you wanted, even if you didn’t go for a month, or two.
I personally think that whomever fired her made a huge mistake, I’m sure that with her charisma and professionalism, she’ll have no problem finding another job in the restaurant industry.
To the new management, wake up before is too late, please get it together.
The last time I was here, the bar was practically empty, and most of the restaurant tables were empty as well.
I was very happy how the manager and the staff received us. When we are coming in, Jeff (the manager) was waiting for us by the door and opened the door for us as if he was welcoming us into his own house. He was good with kids too as he talked to our nephews and nieces and he got a thumbs up from the kids when he asked them how good the desserts was. It was a successful rehearsal dinner as the guests enjoyed the good food and drinks, well organized private area for our party, well attentive staff, and great ambiance. The place was presentable too. The waiters are all well trained on how to give a very good customer service. I will recommend if you have a special event like ours to do it here at Jameson. They will make sure that you’ll have a successful event with them.
I’ll post pictures of their delicious food and their chocolate cake that was very good! Oh, when I asked for Prosecco, they gave me the brand that I always get too. Coincidence? maybe, but It worked. We ordered a lot but I wasn’t able to take pictures of the others food because I was busy talking to people and I was having fun too.
There’s HUGE parking outside the restaurant. The bathroom was clean and well kept. This would be one of our top choices now for restaurants in the area.
While the restaurant was busy, our waitress did little too attend to us and as the food made it’s way across several states, given how long it took to get to us. We had filet, mahi-mahi and lamb, none of which were. Worth it.
Needless to say, this is both my first and last visit here.
Not recommend.
This was the BEST meal I’ve had at a restaurant in a long long time. First, the MOST polite staff. Every. Single. Person. Second, the filet mignon melted in my mouth. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection. We shared the flourless chocolate cake for dessert and it was phenomenal. We had a shrimp de jonghe appetizer – perfect. The streaks are aged, and come with broccoli, soup, salad, AND potato or rice. They also bring you HOT bread. All our food was HOT. Not warm – hot! We are taking home basically an entire meal because there was so much! With an appetizer, two steak entrees with all I mentioned, a shared dessert, and 2 beers each, our bill was $126 before tax and tip. Totally worth it. We live an hour away and found this place because I’m here for a conference. I will definitely drive an hour to come back. I never take pics of my food (yuck) but I had to for this place.
