Rooms were emaculately clean. Looks newly remodeled. Beds are comfortable. Only reason for a 4 star rating is the staff told a different price per night for the room over the phone then the price actually being $20.00 more upon arrival at the bar. The response for the difference in pricing was “oh… she doesn’t know what she is talking about,” referring to the staff member on the phone previously quoting a lower price. Food is great but conversation is short not ones for talking I guess. More personable staff would be a plus. Also, maybe leave the construction work on a shed for a time someone isn’t renting a room nearby. Sledgehammers make a lot of noise.

My husband and a friend arrived at the RV Park, June 1, 2022 to June 5, 2022 for a Prairie Dog shoot. My husbands first impressions were everything appeared well kept. They stayed in the RV campgrounds and only saw exterior of the other lodging that was there. The night of arrival dinner and then breakfast the next morning was fine. Dinner on June 2nd was something never experienced in his life. My husband and his friend went into the bar/restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere was normal. Only bar menu is available for dinner. Ordered chicken gizzards, which was a new experience. Didn’t care for them and wanted to order something else. Karla came flying out of the kitchen, and began arguing with my husband and his friend. Stating this is how gizzards taste and this is the texture. She become extremely heated and started threatening for them not to say anything back to her. My husband said he would pay for the meal during her rant. She threatened to call the Police, and continued to act very unhinged. They got up, paid and left and did not return to the Restaurant during their stay. They ate at other restaurants and heard many stories of her crazy behavior, and chasing people with a baseball bat. I would never eat or stay here again.

Stay away!! Most hateful, disrespectful owner I have ever encountered! Will only accept cash for rooms and then charges tax on top of that with no receipt. Go figure where that tax money is going. Not to the government or state I assure you.
