The loco moco here is solid, though it really needs some hot sauce or else it’s kind of plain. The kalua pork with cabbage was way too salty and not that flavorful, though I do appreciate it as a relatively healthy option (it’s not sweet). The mac salad was kind of drab (just pasta and mayo). Portions are very generous and service is quick.

Easy to access spot with a lot of options – but not really a lot of BBQ options.
The staff was friendly but had trouble understanding English.
The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were great.
The food was good but generally average (a bit salty).
The sitting area was simple but clean. But the bathrooms were in the next building over and were in terrible shape. And they had a TV in the corner playing a movie with a bunch of cussing.

Tried some more substantial fare at this location farther down the southern coast. Holy it’s a hot spot – a constant flow of locals getting decent take-out grub.
Tried the Kailua cabbage pork and beef short ribs – both juicy and tender.

We went here a few time when we were getting back to where we were staying late. The seseme chicken is the best we ever had. Spam masubi is great same with the Ahi katsu and grilled ahi.

I love our friendly neighborhood L&L from the day doors opened back in 2011 when I was a teen growing up in Ocean View, L&L has served quick, hot and heaping portions of everyones local favorites! The place has become a mainstay in our big little town of Ocean View we have even come to know several of the long time workers as members of our community even 🙂 …I wish many more prosperous years to come for Ocean View L&L!

I’ve always supported our businesses in the community. This one time I wish LNL had my back. I had ordered takeout but didn’t expect that I had a time limit. My sister-in-law had just passed away and I ran into some friends along the way to picking up my food but apparently it took too long. The Chinese guy that took my order yelled at me and told me next time I better pick up my phone. That really upset me already having a bad day I picked. I got my food and I told them I didn’t realize I had a time limit. The next time I went to order takeout they had banned my number through their service. I never felt so hurt and disappointed in my life. Thanks l&l

Unbelievably enormous menu for a small restaurant with good service and indoor and outdoor seating. The portions are huge and enough for two. The katsu and Mac salad were good.
