Stopped by for breakfast and had the steel cut oatmeal and the veggie breakfast burrito. Both were very tasty.
I normally don’t think of this place for oatmeal but I will definitely come back again. The oatmeal was cooked perfectly and toppings were good.
Burrito was tasty with the salsa. Wasn’t super heavy.

Our recent visit left us more disappointed than delighted. A water leak from the roof rendered several tables unusable, forcing us into a cramped seating area—a clear inconvenience.

I stopped by this Corner Bakery in Burbank this morning because my wife was craving their chicken pomodori sandwich. I was already in the area getting my breakfast burrito nearby so it just worked out for me to get my wife her sandwich. I placed my order online through their website for pickup. I did it right when they open because it will not let you order ahead of time. I got my wife her chicken pomodori and got the ceasar salad as her side. It said the pickup time would be in 15 minutes so it worked out. When you get to the place the entrance is on San Fernando because the small street entrance is for exiting only. I found parking easily since I think I was their first customer of the day. They have outdoor seating here if you want to sit outside. When I walked inside, it’s very quiet and seem kind of a traditional setup. There was only 1 person working and I told her that I was here for a mobile order pickup. She was very polite with me and checked that my order was all there in the bag. I took it home for my wife to eat her food and she loved it.

This place was not what I expected. In reviewing the information on their website, there wasn’t anything to indicate that it was not a standard waitress served dining place.
Be that as it may, I decided to give it a try anyway. Actually, the concept is not a bad one, and in fact, serves the public interest. Why, you might ask?
When it comes down to it, having a dining location with waitresses serving you winds up, costing you more money!
So, not only because you save on the tip, but also the company saves on employee expenses, including but not limited to employee taxes, liability, insurance, etc.
Also, this particular franchise is passing on their savings to the consumers by charging lower prices. Sounds good to me.
So you walk in, look at the menu on the wall behind the counter. Make your selection, place your order, pay the bill, and when it’s ready, a little puck sounding device will sound off and then you go fetch your food. Not a problem.
As for the rest of my review of this place, I’ll let my pictures do the talking…

I have read a lot of reviews on a disagree with many I am never had an issue or a problem eating here ! The food is always warm and delicious especially that pesto chicken sandwiches the chicken noodle soup is always hot and the salads are always very delicious ! I have been to other corner bakeries never thought corner bakery was a restaurant where you sit down in a waitress comes and takes your order that’s ridiculous this is called corner bakery ! When you hear the name corner bakery you would automatically think that you would go to the counter place your order after looking at the menu ! I think sometimes people expect a little too much from Little restaurants or dining places like this to be mourning of what it really is,,,

Maybe because we visited on a Sunday evening, but it was empty and it still took very long for our food to come out. The table was a little sticky eventhough it seemd to be clean. The service was ok, nothing notable. The sandwich I ordered was good but again, nothing special.

Very unethical customer service skills. I saw their sign that they had an espresso shot for two dollars and 69 cents and adding an extra shot for a dollar 09. So I told her that I wanted a double. They told me it was five dollars and 38 cents. I said no look at the sign your sign says an extra shot is only a dollar nine. The Young cashier said “well our sign is wrong” . Well I said well you should at least honor it. She did not answer. I was so disappointed. Especially where they seem to be a supervisor next to her over here in the conversation and didn’t even turn around to address the issue. Businesses are about first impression. That was my first time ever ordering there. And it was not a good first impression. I will never go there again. For business ethics. Is so frustrating and aggravating. And yes it is just a few bucks difference, but it’s not even about that. It’s about integrity. Which obviously show they lacked. Here’s a clear picture below of their pricing. And she wouldn’t even honor it. Brutal! This happened on Wednesday August 14th around 8:20 a.m. I ended up canceling the order and she acted like she didn’t even care

Visited here with my boyfriend on a Saturday during COVID for breakfast. They do patio dining as well as takeout or delivery. They have plenty of parking right next to the cafe. The place was clean and you could see hand sanitizer wherever you turn your head to lol. Customer service was really good, it was our first time so they didn’t rush us and actually helped us picking items. Food was really good as well. We ordered Chicken Pomodori Panini and Cheddar Broccoli Soup. With bottled orange juices (since they didn’t have freshly squeezed) and a coke. And they gave you complimentary chips on the side. The panini’s were really good, not too heavy nor too light. One of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely will be back. Thank you.
