Their sushi rolls are amazing and so is the rest of the food unfortunately tonight my daughter ordered a sushi roll and found a hair in it. She didn’t want a new one. You would’ve thought they would’ve gave you a discount or something taken off the check but they didn’t so because of that reason I can’t rate it as good as should be because you would have thought they would want to make sure the customer was satisfied.

They should literally get a bollard that shouts ALL DAY LUNCH specials! Business would boom 50x!
Extensive menu offerings, open late (til 10pm on weekdays – as most places close at 9) you can get 3 Rolls for $14.59 (w/ a soup or salad) .. the teriyaki chicken was good and great portion for $11.
If you spend $18+ and pay cash- you get a free traditional roll (it’s extensive)

Sakura has always been a go-to sushi spot for fresh sushi but lately I have been noticing a difference in their quality of seafood…the sushi pieces come with a tiny/barely any amount of salmon/shrimp lately and it’s upsetting so I may not order anymore. I believe it is a different sushi cook some days. First photo is shrimp tempura..couldn’t even taste any shrimp to be honest…just the fried crust of the shrimp. In the second photo all the way to the right is spicy shrimp…there’s no shrimp…

Tried this place with my son who requested to try something new. The woman at the counter was so patient and helpful. The food was delicious. My son keeps asking for “the delicious half circles” (gyoza) and we will definitely be going back. 10/10. The people were kind, the food was perfect and we personally enjoyed the atmosphere while waiting for our order. We were waiting outside, the woman at the counter brought our order out and gave my son a little pack of cookies or wafers and he was over the moon. Highly recommend for quick take out especially on a rainy day.

I order from here all the time. The staff are extremely friendly and remember me as a regular. The sushi is not only more affordable, but also better than any other sushi spot I’ve ever been to. Hands down the best place to eat in merchantville.

First time buying from here and the food was amazing. I come in to pick up and first thing they did was greet me with a smile and after i payed they gave me a free drink because there was a 5-10 minute wait. I would recommend this please a lot and will be coming back here again.

My husband and I just found this place and started coming almost every week now because of how much we love this place!! The food is so delicious it’s addicting lol, and the prices are great. Highly recommend trying the hibachi fried rice (try the chicken or tofu!), veggie dumplings, mango sushi roll, and sweet potato sushi rolls. The sushi here is such great quality and tastes so fresh. Tastes like expensive restaurant sushi but without the high prices.

I used to be a loyal customer. I just picked up as a local dasher in the area for another customer. I was treated blatantly differently just bc I was a dasher and not the direct customer. She was rude and looked at me like I stole from them when I grabbed a candy from the bowl I’ll never order here again
