Such a serene place to have dinner with family or friends. The staff were very attentive and kind during my visit and even gave us some bread and balsamic glaze to snack on while waiting on our food.

I ordered the chicken parm as my dish and it was pretty good; the chicken was tender and flavorful, but the pasta was a quite bland. Definitely needs to be eaten stacked with the chicken.

The waiter brought out a complimentary celebratory dessert (the brookie sundae) for me as I was celebrating my graduation that night. He was very kind and very patient with us despite the restaurant being noisy at times.

Overall great experience, my girls and I had a great time!

SoulEdge: Late Night Cravings
Arrived for Dinner on Friday & Saturday. Met my server Ray, he gave me excellent service. Ordered a custom Margherita Pizza with added mushrooms & pepperoni. That really hit the spot. The Affogato, try tasting the espresso coffee & slowly pour it on the ice cream & have at it enjoy. The Ice Cream itself could been more flavorful. Blend it with the strong espresso, needless to say. It could have tasted better. The next dessert I tried was the Salted Caramel Budino. Good on the cruchy pecans & it tasted well without the banana. Dirty Almond Chai beverage, so good it has a nice kick. Both visits are dedicated to my then German American ex girlfriend who looks like Lagertha from a vikings tv show. Cue in the song ” Hurricane “by Cannons and ” Lose My Mind ” song by Don Toliver ( ft. Doja Cat )

Rey was our server and he was very kind patient and helpful. Bread and crispy eggplant great combo. Servings are generous. Good value. Dessert was great, the seasonal pumpkin butter cake was super good. Thanks to the mgmt team for their help with our desserts.

We came in on a busy Friday night and Nicole was able to squeeze us in two a comfortable booth near the bar area. She was so sweet, gracious and checked on us throughout our visit. Ray, our server, was equally kind and friendly. We split the salad with gorgonzola dressing and pine nuts (delicious and generous portion) and the short rib pasta which we subbed for bucatini instead of the elbow pasta it comes with. Super rich and tasty! Wonderful dish! Even the food runner made us feel special and loved. (I forgot her name but she was a sweetheart as well). Overall, a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back! The atmosphere was lively and cozy at the same time.

Came here based off a friend’s suggestion and luckily they didn’t disappoint, food and service was excellent. Food came out on time, tasted great! I had the salmon entree and tiramisu for dessert. My server’s name was Emily and she was absolutely amazing!

We came here as a group of 6 ladies for lunch. I had never been before; only one of us had ever been here before.

First, we were seating in a booth, but realized they’re only good for 4 people. In order to be sat immediately we’d either have to sit outside (too hot), or at one of the high top tables by the bar. I believe this move was where we went wrong.

The bartender was “waiting” on us. Obviously he’s also making drinks for the entire restaurant as well as serving the people sitting at the bar, and then lastly, us. So the service was pretty bad, to say the least.

We arrived at 1pm. Our food arrived at 2pm! We left at 3pm! Everything was a HUGE wait. The manager was also helping the table. It took a long time to order- then our food took more than 40 minutes to come out. We were never offered refills in our waters/ drinks. We were never offered coffee or dessert. We had to get up and ask for to-go boxes. We had to go ask for the checks. If we had waited for them to check on us, we’d still be in the restaurant now. But enough about the bad service. On to the food!

The food is amazing! I checked out the reviews before going, so I knew we had to order the truffle cheesy garlic bread. It was amazing! We shared it amongst the 6 of us and there was plenty for everyone. The bread actually came out in a decent amount of time- maybe 10 minutes.
I ordered the pesto chicken pasta. It was SO GOOD!!! Since I’d filled up on bread, I was able to eat about half of it. One friend got the house specialty- the pasta bolognese. She ate every bite! Two friends got the roasted vegetables salad and they both ate all of it and loved it and said they were stuffed! One friend got the garlic shrimp plate. It came with a lot of bread. She’s the one who had been here before. She said she’s never had such an issue with the service before. My final friend ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. She said it was excellent and could only eat about half of it.

Each of our checks came to $20-30 after splitting the garlic truffle bread 6 ways.

The atmosphere is nice. Lots of plants – nicely decorated.

I would go back, but definitely not sit at a high top table.

I can’t say anything bad about our experience here. The food and service were great. The Miami Spice menu is an excellent deal. I definitely recommend taking advantage of it. Perfect for a date night.

Went for a baby shower of 60 guests. Food was delicious and waiters Jessica and Sean were very attentive to details and gave us top notch service. The coordinator Atika was professional and everything went smoothly and mama to be was super happy. Thank you for making this day special for our dear friend.

You can only post once on google, but I had to put another review. I went with my friends today 4/12/25 and Emily our server was, sweet, super smart and very attentive. My wife and I were looking for a spot to host our daughter’s post-Communion lunch and narrowed it down to a few places—but we decided to revisit North Italia at Dadeland Mall, and I’m so glad we did. I had been in touch with Atika, their special events manager, for a few days leading up to our lunch. She was super helpful and provided all the info we needed to feel confident about planning here.

While dining, we still had a couple of questions, so we decided to give her a quick call—and as luck would have it, she happened to be on-site! She came by our table, answered everything in person, and that’s when we knew: this is where we’re hosting our daughter’s Communion lunch.

The food was amazing (as always), and the cherry on top? A surprise dessert sent over by Atika. I’m usually not a big sweets person, but let’s just say… I inhaled both.

From the food to the vibes to the incredible staff, North Italia made a big impression. Atika was a rock star, and our server Ashley was sweet, attentive, and friendly. We’re looking forward to our event later this month—and many more future lunch dates when our schedules allow

Encouraged by our family to eat here, my wife and I went to the North Italia for dinner on Tuesday, 6 May. Upon entering we noticed the size of the restaurant, the lighting, and ambiance. It was lit bright enough to see the menu with a dimness to create a cozy or romantic atmosphere. This place is sophisticated enough for fine dining but with a casual comfort to it. We sat at a table near the bar so we could see the Miami Marlins baseball game. Our waiter Julio R. was also the bartender. He did an absolutely excellent job of managing the bar while tending to our needs as dine in patrons. He made a few beer and cocktail recommendations. My wife chose the One More Mambo cocktail and I had the “La Rubia” Blonde Ale beer. Both were perfect. We started with the Prosciutto Bruschetta appetizer which was a bit different from what we’ve eaten in the past. However it tasted great. We shared the Simple 11 salad which my wife and I would highly recommend trying. Our main courses consisted of the Bolognese (House Specialty) and the Ricotta Cavatelli with bucatini noodles. Both were excellent and tasted great. We finished our night with Both were excellent and tasted great. We finished our night with cafe expressos. The experience was fabulous and our waiter made the night even more special with his food and drink suggestions plus his ability to multitask between being a bartender and a waiter. We will definitely return for another meal in the future.
