My husband and I purchased a ricotta pizza which was rung up incorrectly. She on accident entered Burrata. No big deal. The girl said she would just tell the guy making the pizza. But the Burrata cost wayyy more than the topping I asked for. The manager or owner, not sure, came over and cancelled the transaction. He then told the girl “I got the drinks” and she proceeded to ring up the rest of the order. Upon waiting for our pizza to cook, my husband wanted to wash his hands and use the restroom. He was told they didn’t have a public restroom. WAIT! WHAT? So you touch the door, the counter and your money but you’re not allowed to use their restroom. I thought that if your serving food to be eaten in an establishment that you must provide a restroom. Well, we didn’t make a big deal. My husband walked down the street to Starbucks and used their restrooms. Very inconvenient. That left a sour taste in my mouth so instead of eating there, knowing I couldn’t wash up after eating, we took the pizza home. That was Friday. The payment for the “cancelled “ order stayed pending in my bank Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Finally Tuesday it had posted to my bank. I was charged for both the transactions. So I travel through the tunnel, paying $6 each way, to the store , only to be told the manager wasn’t there. I showed them all the proof and they called the manager/owner. Despite my pleas to get the refund that day , so I didn’t have to be inconvenienced again, the cashiers stated that they would take my name and photos of the receipts and my bank account and give to the manager. Tuesday no call from him. Wednesday no call from him. I call late Wednesday night and ask for the manager. I’m told he isn’t there AGAIN. She then asks “he hasn’t called you yet”. I said NOPE. I asked what time he would be in the next day. She states super early , when the store first opens. I know that not to be true because I was there when it first opened on Tuesday and he wasn’t there. She takes my number AGAIN and states she will talk to him again. About 3 hours after that I receive a text stating that I was getting a refund for $36 instead of the $41 I was due. After showing my husband and us trying to figure out why the short refund, we figured out that he charged us for the drinks that “he got” and took it out of our refund. I heard him say he got the drinks , my husband heard it and the cashier had to have heard it because she only rang the pizza. No big deal. I have my refund , minus the tolls and inconvenience. What is a big deal is the lack of communication and accountability. He was given my phone number TWICE and not once thought to call and apologize and make correcting that mistake a priority. His silence about this situation made me think that I was burdening him for asking for something that was owed to me. And for that, I would never recommend this establishment. Customer service is a very important part of being a successful business.
The pizza was very disappointing. The crust was soggy and the pizza itself was overpriced for the size.
