I really like this place. The pizza is delicious and probably one of the best around. The past two times I’ve ordered well done, it has not been so that is disappointing. If the doneness of the pizza can be ironed out, this is easily a 10/10 pie

I’ve been coming to Rocco’s since it opened and it’s always been somewhere I want to come back again and again. It’s a neighborhood favorite with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. There’s something for everyone on the menu from the house made pizza crust and tomato sauces to sandwiches and homestyle pasta dishes prepared fresh every time. Whether a date night, family dinner, lunch with friends or just a quick stop for happy hour, Rocco Italian Grill is my favorite and I highly recommend going if you haven’t already.

The “Local corner bar” with traditional Italian food and unique selections. The inside is above average but with the stars being emphasized on the food and service. Family owned and run. Decent beer and alcohol options.

Cold beers
Friendly staff
Cute little place
Patrons were happy
TVs- nice place to watch a game
Fries were good – tasted a bit sweet
Bbq chicken pizza was good, this crust with a bit of a crunch. Smoky bbq sauce with chicken
Chicken parm – my sister did not like this at all. Said unfortunately noodles were very undercooked and sauce tasted like stouffers. The chicken was not good either
We told our waitress that it was not good at all and you can tell we only ate a couple bites and it was still on the bill when we got it, but she didn’t charge my mom for her two beers so it evened out.
Coke was okay – very syrupy and not as carbonated
Really good tunes

My law firm had the pleasure of receiving catering from Rocco’s and it was delicious! The chicken cutlet sandwiches, Caesar salad, pizza, and various dressings & fixings for everything made it the perfect lunch for our monthly professional development event. It was tasty and well balanced- the staff went in for seconds and thirds! Thank you, Dani for introducing us to this wonderful eatery!

Roccos is a sports bar but doesn’t feel like one. The tvs are big and all over, but they had low music playing rather than audio from the game. Any game. We were able to request the games we wanted to see, and they put them on for us. The food there is really good, especially the pizza. We’d go back to try more of the menu.

I have gone here several times eating in and taking out and have always been pleased but on Saturday I tried the eggplant Parma.. what a disappointment! I can appreciate the thinly sliced eggplant? Honestly, it was like eating thin pieces of fried breadcrumbs, after 3 bites with no eggplant taste what so ever, it got trashed..Did you all just not have eggplant, you could have called and we could have changed the order. I’m confused as to how it was even made or what it was. Anyway.. Nice atmosphere, Pizza’s always great and safe. I would stay clear of the eggplant Parmesan!

Order anything with the garlic bread and amp up your gastronomic experience to epic proportions. Lauren has that way of scanning the bar/restaurant for a refill, making sure everything is cool, or the check. It’s not loud so you can converse with friends-and new friends! Community vibe. Oh, and did I mention the garlic bread?

Everything was horrible except the powdered fried dough those were delicious fresh warm crunch on the outside and nice and soft and moist on the inside The wings were beyond dry overcooked and not edible at all the cheese steak egg rolls were soggy yet overcooked the two rolls were super hard couldnt break or bite into them at all the pizza was very basic and for aome reason super sweet like it was a pound of sugar added to the sauce I tried them based off the good reviews maybe I went on a bad day but I definitely wouldn’t return it was a huge huge waste of money almost hundred dollars in the trash for the prices I assumed it would at least be edible

UPDATE: November 15, 2023 looking for something to eat late night in DE, again. We remembered visiting this spot a couple years ago, decided to take our friend this time. We weren’t disappointed, the pizza was delicious, I miss the Italian from the North, can’t compare anything in the South to its Northern counterparts. We got the spinach/ricotta pizza which was light, lots of flavor and just what I was looking for. We also got the cheesesteak and lobster Diablo bisque (I don’t eat seafood) but was told for the 2nd time it was delicious and the cheesesteak one of the best my husband expressed he has had.

This time there was live music, unfortunately we arrived just as they were winding down and only got to hear a couple of songs . The music was good and wished we could have heard more.

They are open late with food being served up to around 30 min of closing time. (Double check the timing, I could be off on that a little). Regardless we were happy with our experience again. Definitely a spot I will visit again next time we are in the Wilmington, DE area.

OLD POST: Late night dinner. This place has outside seating that looked inviting, but when we arrived, they were folding outside up, so we weren’t able to enjoy it as we wanted for our late nite diner, it’s a shame, it was a beautiful night. However we did eat inside. Its a small dining area, pub atmosphere. We ordered the crab diablo soup and large pizza. The soup (which I didn’t eat) was said to be very good. The pizza was good, a little burned on the edges but not much. It was large and the sausage and pepperoni were good. Overall, I liked it. Prices were decent, not too expensive. (Wish I had taken a picture of the menu.) There was a small crowd at the bar, younger vibe all enjoying talking with each other. I could see this being a bigger group hang out on the weekends. For a Wednesday night it was a decent sized crowd.
