Pluto’s was a great place to dine. The staff was friendly and informative, the decor was charmingly space themed, and the food was really good. We had a tamale which unfortunately was dry and the low light of our food. Their hot dogs are award winning in Chicago, didn’t disappoint, but it is not a must have if you need to travel far south for it. The gyro plate was fantastic. The tsatski sauce was a little thin, but full of flavor, and we built 2 humongous gyros with all of the meat and extra pita. While the inclusion of lettuce was odd, the inclusion of feta cheese was great. The chicken sandwich was the star of the show as it appears fresh breaded and has robust flavor along with its juicy inside! We also tried their triple burger which was fantastic, steaming hot, and on a real good gluten free bun . Speaking of gluten free, they have a robust gluten free menu and take it very serious as the owner’s son has gluten issue. All in all Pluto’s is a fantastic treat from top to bottom. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this local establishment’s gems!

I have dined in and picked up, I love this place!! The staff is usually super friendly, but it’s the food that always brings me back! I like going here because they actually cook the food and I dont feel like I’m eating chemicals like flavorings and processed stuff! My top go to’s are chicken on a pita, gyros platter, half Greek chicken, chili, all the soups, burgers and honestly what I haven’t eaten my son and husband have and loved it! My son usually sticks to the ribs! Plutos is a little out of the way for me, but always worth the trip! Highly recommend!

I have been eating at PLUTOS with my family for a while now. I also attend the Tuesday trivia’s. I never ate one thing I disliked and always had an enjoyable experience with the staff and location. Great place to shop local instead of other places that don’t deserve your business. I Highly recommended trying this establishment!

This review is based on my recent visit. Had the Pluto hotdog special(2 hotdogs and fries) my son had a hamburger (ketchup & pickles ) ate the entire thing and said it was great (he don’t usually eat burgers so that’s a plus. Fries were nicely seasoned. I thought my bun was a little hard and wasn’t that warm, also had it to go. Ali the ingredients were fresh and the shakes should definitely be given a try. This is a kid friendly restaurant with gluten free options. Order came out fast and cashier was friendly.

This place is just awesome. Big menu and everything on it’s great, trivia is fund, and the service is wonderful.
I sometimes wake up thinking “I’m getting one of those damn horchata shakes tonight, got to.”

Great fresh food, friendly and helpful staff, family owned. There are many restaurants in my area, but I drive to Pluto’s. Highly recommended!

This is our first time ever visiting Pluto’s. We are taking my daughter back to the airport for her flight home and she wanted to stop for a quick little snack. She had the hamburger and fries and my son had hotdogs and fries and to my surprise they had gluten-free buns, so I could actually eat here! Everything was so tasty. It came out hot and fast and just as we ordered it.

This is a nice spot to both and eat enjoy the decor. Feels like it’s frozen in time with this retro-space theme interior, but very comforting to be in. The customer service was kind and welcoming to us on entering. Inside, there was TVs playing both movies and general channels for entertainment. There was a small children’s area for kids where they could eat and watch movies, and even a shelf with books to indulge into. Books are commonly featured around the dining area, mostly matching the space-like theme of the restaurant.
The food was very simple, but pleasant. Pricing on everything I had ordered felt fair for the portions I was given, so I have no complaints to list. I ordered their “Meteor Burger” alongside a side of both fried mushrooms and friend mac n’ cheese bites. The Meteor bigger was a fairly sized 3-layer burger (each patty was 1/4 lb) and tasted as you would expect. It was pretty solid, but I think I saw will do perfectly with it. The fried mushroom’s breading was crisp outside, but felt slightly under inside, leaving a strange texture for a bite. The mushrooms themselves were very flavorful and juicy. The mac n’ cheese bites were exactly what you’d expect, deep fried mac n’ cheese shaped triangles of goodness. Simple, but a good side nonetheless.
The gyro platter? Around this area, where many places serve gyros, was one of the best around. Piled very high and loaded up with meat, sauce, onion, and tomato, the gyro was incredibly flavorful and stood out over everything else I had ordered thus far. I highly recommended coming here just to try the gyro alone, it is amazing.
