Katsu was good. I like that they offer pork, chicken, beef, and mushroom. Took food to-go and it came nicely packed. I will be returning again to try more. The portions were more than enough.

Katsu Bar in Brea did not disappoint! If you are in a rush I recommend one of their sandos, which is so fun to eat with their crispy interior and their soft bread exterior. Have a little more time and you can enjoy one of their curry plates, noodles, or chef’s special! My favorite was the tteokbokki with mushroom katsu! Love the sweet and spicy flavor and the mushroom was so crunchy and fun to eat!
The restaurant is clean and the service is friendly and efficient.

I ordered the regular Curry Katsu Plate. The portion size was just right, and the katsu was perfectly crispy on the outside while tender and juicy inside. The curry sauce was flavorful, but with a nice depth that complemented the katsu really well. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone craving good katsu with curry.

Took a while to order and another while to get the food. I see people around me waiting either to order or to get their food.
I think that young lady at the counter has no experience in the restaurant business. Ordered chicken curry katsu and ended up getting pork katsu. Food was ok. It’s not the best, but also not the worst. Honestly, I had better food when Curry House was around. Good place to go for their lunch specials only. Underwhelming for a dinner place. They need to work on being more efficient serving their customers and bringing
the food out faster.

I came here for the first time with my family and it was a great experience. The place was polished and the workers were nice. We ordered shrimp sando with waffle fries, egg sando, katsu bowl, chicken sandos, and spicy chicken noodles. The sandos were sweet and buttery, and the portion was high for all the meals.

Really enjoyed Katsu Bar. I tried two of the items on their menu their rosemary katsu Sando and Korean chicken bites. The katsu sandwich was solid. The pork cutlet was cooked nicely and had a light and crunchy texture. My only complaint was that I felt the katsu sauce was a touch too sweet for my liking. The star of the show for me was the Korean chicken bites with sweet and spicy sauce. It was a dish that I would definitely order again! I’m excited to try more dishes the next time I go!

Ordered the Katsu curry plate and my friend ordered the Katsu Bowl. Both were delicious. The pork katsu had a nice crunch and tender inside. The curry was flavorful. The staff was nice and friendly. Food came out fast and hot. Nice seating area with about 7-8 tables.
