Mi Hacienda is the absolute BEST Mexican restaurant in Starkville!!! We’ve tried them all. We also like La Terraza, too….but Mi Hacienda is our favorite! We love Mi Hacienda’s thin, hot tortilla chips, and delicious salsa!! The chicken and shredded beef entrees are my favorites. The atmosphere is very inviting as well!

Food was awesome! Our waiter was pretty attentive to our table and made sure to refill everything. I feel like you can make a meal with the tamales alone. 3 for $2 is a deal! They’re pretty thick too, so you may want a little extra sauce. Chips are lighter and more fresh/taste better than the other restaurants. Very pleased with my skillet. I like the decorations and music too. The drink cups are massive!

My husband and I went to eat this afternoon. Service was good until we got our food came out. As we were eating our meal little roaches were crawling on the walls and on the bench. We told 4 people at the restaurant from our server to the manager. The manager simply told us thank you for letting him know & walked away. No apologies….no comps nothing. We left all diner not even 1/3 of the way eaten paid and left. We will not be back.

Mi Hacienda is my go-to spot for great Mexican food and the best frozen margaritas in town. The food is always consistent, the service is friendly, and it’s the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy yourself. The margaritas are perfectly blended, just the right balance of flavor and kick — definitely worth the trip on their own.

From the time we were seated to the moment dessert was served … Tony treated us as if we were the only guests in the restaurant (and that certainly was not the case – Mi Hacienda was packed) !! Spicy & creamy – delicious & crunchy – sweet & memorable are the adjectives our table decided “best described” the appetizer – entrées – desserts 🙂 And the place is all decked out for the holidays !!
