What has happened to the service here in the last month? My family and I eat here at least twice a week, and the workers on the first shift usually recognize me when I come in. I’ve always considered this place my favorite place to eat.
The other day, the staff in the back prepared my food incorrectly. I had the receipt, and when I showed it to the girl at the counter, she confirmed it was correct. However, the cook started to argue, insisting that my order was for boneless wings when the receipt clearly stated “traditional wimpy.” When I finally received my order, the wings were extremely hot. Sometimes I will get tongue torch this was hotter!! I’m pregnant, and I was so frustrated that I ended up throwing the food away.
Tonight, we went in again and spent $45+, which is typical for our family of four. I ordered the “wings and things” as usual, but after we sat down and waited, the food I received was ice cold—even the wimpy sauce. I asked the girl to feel the wing to confirm how cold it was; it felt like it had been sitting in the refrigerator for hours. My husband’s loaded fries were also cold, and the cheese wouldn’t even melt.
This is unacceptable service, and I’m starting to believe it’s the cooks who don’t care. To make matters worse, they started putting up chairs inside at 8:50 PM while also cleaning the bathrooms but they can’t get decent food. They don’t even close inside until 10:00 I will be calling corporate. One time the girl told us we close in an hour just letting you know and they was cleaning up as well. If I have an hour to eat that’s plenty of time at a restaurant such as Longhorns or something. I don’t need an hour to eat Zaxby’s I need better service and fresh food.

I never leave reviews but I live 5 minutes from this zaxbys and I love zaxbys. Sometimes they are good and sometimes they are TRASH. Like my dipped chicken tenders were so dry tonight. My wings tasted like garbage. The service was good but whatever those cooks got going on they need to do better. I know it’s “just fast food” and i know they probably “don’t make enough money to care” but this is people’s lunches or dinners and I hate spending $40 on a meal that just doesn’t taste good. I may sound like I’m complaining but I would want to know where I could improve

I ordered 3 salads & a 5 Finger plate. When I got home, the 5 finger plate was not in the bag. I went back to get the 5 finger plate & the lady just looked at the receipt a long time when I told her the plate wasn’t in the bag. She never apologized for the 5 finger plate not being in the bag. I then had to wait 15 minutes for the plate & she never apologized but said “Here love” and gave me the bag of food. I am not her love! The chicken on my salad was cold by the time I got home to eat my supper.

I frequent this location and almost always have a great experience. Today, however, I was very disappointed by the food. Both my chicken tenders and my fries tasted stale and tasted like they had maybe been held since the lunch rush. I was there about 2:30 pm. Additionally, the toast was dried out. All my food got cold before I could finish it. Every other time, my food has been cooked to order and tastes fresh, but this time, apparently not. This experience does not sour me on this location, and I’ll give them another chance in the future.

It’s a chicken restaurant, nothing overtly special aside from their Zax sauce.
Workers don’t seem like they really wanted to be there, the sweet tea was empty, and the chicken tenders tasted good but were some of the smallest I’ve ever seen.
I’d skip them next time and try something different in town.

My family and friends have been coming here since they opened. Place is always clean, food is always good and service is always great. It’s in a great location just off Hwy 278 in Rockmart, and with easy entrance and exit. If you are pulling a camper or trailer, or driving a semi or motorhome, there’s plenty of room to pull in and park.
I usually get the Blue Zalad, it comes with blacked or buffalo style chicken chunks, the lettuce is a blend of iceberg and romaine, with tomatoes, carrots, etc. and a side of Texas toast. My wife and I usually share the Blue with the buffalo, its plenty for both of us. They also serve many other things, one of which is a buffalo style sandwich on Texas toast, which is absolutely delicious, but it’s a pending heart attack!
Will return and highly recommend.

Everything on my plate was cold even the toast my fries was burnt with no seasoning I don’t understand why when there wasn’t anyone in there but me and my wife is there not any times on the food? Why was my food cold?????????? I will never eat at this location again I will go to Hiram VERY DISAPPOINTED

My husband and I went to this location on 4/3 and the service we got in the drive thru was horrible! The girl had a nasty attitude and got the nerve to be holding the menu like she work at Chick-fil-A but with a bad attitude! Chick-fil-A will never! We will not be back to this location!
