Stopped in for lunch and wow. Fresh steamed and grilled tortillas! The tempeh was so so delicious and the menu is perfect. You can build your own anything fresh sides and toppings. Super cute atmosphere and the staff were exceptional. Friendly and helpful with asking what was vegetarian.

Best tacos I have ever eaten in my entire life and I’m 71 yrs old!!! I had a corn taco and a flour taco with the most fresh ingredients you could ever use!!
In addition, servers were great and Preston was outstanding and very attentive to his customers!
I will probably go back tonight for a couple of the same tacos!

Great burrito spot! If your a fan of Chipotle. This place is the elevated version. It’s our go to burrito spot. Jim and Andy are great. We see at least one of them every time we go. Check out their other locations in the Sarasota area. This UTC location is awesome.

Poppo’s Taqueria at the UTC Shoppes it’s one of our favorite spots to grab a bite while shopping in the area, specifically for the kids!
Every time we go, the food is fresh, flavorful, and made with healthier ingredients than other similar food chains.
You can taste the quality and difference definitely.
From the burritos to the bowls and quesadillas everything is made to order and is always yummy!
The chips are fresh and crunchy, they also have organic and natural popsicles and sodas, very glad they have better options !

My wife and I stopped in for lunch last Sunday, and what an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the tacos were on another level—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. A special shout-out to the individual making the tortillas. They greeted us with the warmest smile and genuine friendliness, and you could truly taste the love in every bite.

Blown away by service and food. I think district manager or owner was there introduced us to General manager. Rarely do you get this level of service anymore. Food was equally incredible. Quick and my kid loved it!

Poppos is in a league of their own! I used to love to eat Chipotle and CAVA, but now that I know about Poppos Taqueria…Poppos is my new spot to eat delicious Mexican style food!! The burritos are huge, and very tasty!

First experience was not impressed. I start with a burrito that I ask for Pico de gallo , the guy roll his eyes ,portion small, chip not cook right, salsa not flavor in alitlle tiny container, we said let try tacos for the price was so small serving, and after First bite the whole thing got so soggy that was hard to eat. Its too bad I thought it will be good but nope. Overall small portion, nothing great.

Another soccer mom taco shop to avoid. Bad selection of toppings (no white onion or cotija cheese, but feta and arugula? Really?), prep cooks don’t even know how to prep a tomato (stem connector piece just thrown in the pico), tortilla chips are too thick, $6 for a single skimped steak taco, etc.
