I stopped by this Panera Bread in Monroe for a quick bite and a break after doing some shopping. The location on Larkin Dr is super convenient, and there’s plenty of parking available. Inside, the atmosphere is cozy and laid-back—perfect for a quick lunch or getting some work done on a laptop. I was really impressed with the service; the staff was friendly, and my order arrived quickly, fresh, and piping hot. You really can’t go wrong with their soup and sandwich combos if you’re looking for a healthy meal. The dining area was also kept very clean. I’ll definitely be coming back to this location!

I order here all the time and it’s the best Panera! The bakery is the best and I get my sour dough bread sliced thin and it’s so yummy. The harvest medley salad is always made customized perfectly. My mother in law loves the tuna salad and who wouldn’t, it’s fresh daily! The manager is the nicest and totally went out of her way to fix a mistake door dash made and she drove me my order herself! She didn’t have to do that and totally went above and beyond just to make my day better. I always love ordering here.

When you want to spend $15-20+ a person to be hungry again in an hour or two, this is the place to go. Waited for about 15 minutes staring at the dental office that shares the drive-thru lane for an employee to remember they have one and then proceed to still get a 4 item order wrong. With that top tier speed and efficiency, not sure why Paneras even has a drive-thru. Food was honestly great though.

I love the garlic bread that they give for free. And don’t even get me started on their tasty meals. I would recommend the chicken parmigiana as the tomato sauce and chicken have a great mix.

We stopped in at 7:45 AM to get quick fountain drinks and two parfaits. There were two women at the front; nobody said a word to us. Nobody greeted us. Nobody said hello. We put our order in at the kiosk. We went down to the counter to pick up our two parfaits, which most Panera’s usually have them premade. Nobody was at the pick up counter. Nobody was working on our order. Not a soul in sight, yet we heard the voices of the employees. Finally, my husband asked if anybody was working on our order. We track down three employees who were handling bread. One woman was giving instructions. Another woman was doing the work. And the third woman was watching. Nobody wanted to fill our order. Which again was too simple parfaits, and two large cups. When they finally gave us two large cups, we went to the fountain drinks, and the drinks weren’t available. There was no tea made. And my husband could not get a soda. The soda was empty! When we asked if we could get help, they told us they were working on something and we needed to wait. So we ended up just getting a refund. Completely incompetent people. They open at 6 AM. Why are their drinks not out?

Never a bad meal at Panera. Not perfect…. My chicken avocado melt was cold in the middle…. And my French onion soup bread bowl was a tad shy on soup. But everything tasted great. I was starving and as usual Panera was fresh and thankfully not crowded at at.

Steve was phenomenal, very welcoming and gave us tons of advice on how to order and what is good. Ice tea was really good, food too with big portions. Bread broccoli soup/ Mac cheese, autumn squash soup, with toasted bread tuna sandwich and salad. Service was fast.

I stopped in today at the Panera in Monroe, NY and just wanted to take a moment to shout out the incredible manager on duty. Even though it took a bit to get my iced coffee cup order, I quickly realized why—this woman was working nonstop, doing the job of three people, with grace, efficiency, and a smile that never left her face.
They were short-staffed, and the place was buzzing with business, but she handled it all like a pro. When I asked how long she was working, she smiled and said she was supposed to leave at 4 but had to go manage another store at 2 instead. Still—she never skipped a beat. Never stopped moving. Never stopped being kind.
That kind of attitude? That level of people-first care? It’s rare. And it made my day.

My companion and I stopped in about 30 minutes prior to closing on a Tuesday night and even though it was late still received excellent service from every worker we encountered. However hats off to Steve in particular who was so kind and attentive. A real gem in the service industry. We’ll definitely stop back in next time we are in the area!
