Meat was only good part ,great flavor and tender. Sauce was good would have been better warm not cold order 2 side dishes. I ordered One was brisket with mac&cheese and fries other was brisket with fried cabbage and sweet potato fries. Was given meat and 1 side and told to take a holder for fries. So we sat about 5 min waiting then started to eat cabbage had good flavor and great crunch but super greasy. Mac and cheese, I can get same stuff at Walmart or out of chef boyardee can. Finally got fries after going up there twice my husband already ate all his food. And I was over it so we ended up throwing away half our food away. 2 bottles of coke cost $10 more. Will i go back uhhh maybe just for meat but highly doubt it. FYI I originally wanted a po boy sandwich which was on menu they said they don’t do those anymore . And customer service wasn’t bad nor good. Mediocre not worth the $100 for 2 meals .

There used to be one in Hailey that was fairly good. So I saw this one in Twin and my partner and I decided to check it out.
Where to start… We were greeted by the staff with the enthusiasm of a funeral home. Not a smile, a welcome, or how can I help you. Placed our order and waited. My partner ordered brisket and half a rack of ribs and I had a smash burger. I was hoping the food would eclipse the service. Sad to say, nope! My partner’s order was cold. Her brisket and ribs were tough. My burger on the other hand, was piping hot. That however didn’t save it from the trait both my food and partner’s food shared, it was SO BLAND! There was absolutely NO seasoning! Even the sauces they served just completely missed the mark. We we’re so disappointed! Where is the quality control? Where is the passion? Overall, the experience was awful and the food was bland and uninspired. I will not be returning.

We enjoyed pork ribs, cucumber salad & cornbread. The ribs were meaty with a hint of smoke on them. I found their regular sauce straight forward, without complexity. The cucumber salad was very good and the cornbread was a winner – a large cut and not to sweet.

I reluctantly tried the TF location because I was close. They had a location in Hailey but finally closed after several years due to something, not sure. Maybe the food wasn’t up to par. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries and a side of Coleslaw. The wait staff seemed unenthused while taking my order and it carried through until I paid. The burger was way undercooked, even for medium rare. The fries were decent but the slaw was a goopy mess of cabbage with I don’t know what kind of dressing, mayo and ketchup? Overall I felt that it was a waste of my money. I did check out the other items on the menu and found the prices to be high. One meat bbq plate, $20.00. That’s high even for the Wood River Valley.
Sorry guys, you need to step up the service and pay attention to the cooking times and final product.

Don’t really like actual corn pieces in my cornbread but overall it was still flavorful. They told me it was fresh, except when I received my cornbread it was cold, like it came out of a cooler. Wings was good except the buffalo flavor, it was pretty salty. Other than that I did enjoy the pulled pork macaroni sandwich.

The food is decent, a little pricey, but decent. The service on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve been eating there for a number of years now, having met 4 or 5 different servers. Not one of them was particularly happy or welcoming and some have been downright rude.

I’ve been eyeing the pulled pork sandwich ever since we got here (moved in March from WA). Every time I’m ready to eat, they’ve run out. Pulled pork is the only BBQ my stomach can handle. Well, today’s the magic day, because my son swung by after work to pick us up two pulled pork sandwiches, his with potato salad side and mine with the creamiest mac ‘n cheese ever.
The pulled pork is so unbelievably tender with a hint of gentle smoke. Soft as a pillow! I only wish I got a little more of the sauce and a little more salt. Otherwise, perfection.
Don’t sleep on the sides, especially mashed potatoes & gravy & Cowboy Beans.
PS. Barbecue sauce is too sweet & smoked meats need more salt.

Driving through to Boise (from Utah) and stopped here for lunch. F9od was fresh and yummy. My burger was the brisket…totally juicy and tender. The cucumber salad was perfect. Cucumbers were crisp. Definitely a stop again.

This is my second time to Smokey Bone BBQ. The first time when i came to Twin Falls to see Shoshone falls. The second time was on purpose after visiting Lava Hotsprings on the way back to California. I ordered two meats and two sides, brisket and baby back ribs. For sides marshes potatoes and coleslaw. Brisket were tender. Baby back ribs were delicious and came off easily from the bones. I will come to this place often if I live in Twin Falls. Highly recommend
