At the time of my visit it was really quiet. The hostess and waitress was pleasant. The food was good but not exceptional or unique in creation or flavor. I was hoping to get a different taste but it was ordinary. The food is good and properly cooked as requested. The food is also good in portion size. The place was clean and there were parking for pick up and preorders. I don’t think the doors were wheelchair friendly.
Advice to management is to keep what you are doing if the aim is standard American type joint then you are on point. I just like new unique flavors

Absolutely amazing food! I couldn’t decide what I wanted to eat and my waitress recommended some things after she saw I wasn’t sure what to order. I definitely recommend trying the smoked brisket! It’s wicked flavorful and tender! I will be making a stop here on my next visit! Greetings from NJ!

Was sooooo good! My wife & I flew in from NJ, and have 3 hours to kill before picking our son up when his flight arrives. VooDoo is close to the airport. EVERYTHING we had was perfect and so delicious! From the garnish-packed Bloody Marys, to the N’awlins BBQ Shrimp appy, chopped brisket meat platter and gumbo!!! WOW! Oh! ….And Jennifer is a very friendly, attentive server!!!

Such a good experience here I’m from the West side of the country and this place was so good. Food was awesome nothing dry or old tasting, drinks are fantastic as well! Definitely a place I’ll visit again.

Chicken is very dry. Seems as if it were precooked, left under a lamp and used as needed. Waitress is very slow, we have been waiting for a very long time to just to pay. Wifes fried food seafood tastes off. Salad was good and so was the shrimp butter appetizer . We have given this place a 2nd chance hoping things would change since we are nearby….we should have just gone elsewhere.

I visited this restaurant on June 3rd, which was during the Corona pandemic. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. My order included the beef brisket platter. At first it did not look like a platter because there were 3 small slices of brisket. After speaking to one of the staff members (thank you to her) I was able to get a few more slices of brisket which made it look like the platter I anticipated. The food was delicious. The jambalaya and the corn suffle were my two sides. They too were scrumptious. My husband ate a shrimp salad and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Every staff member were super kind. They kept checking on us to make sure we had everything needed. I can see that they were enforcing social distancing guidelines. Overall my experience at VooDoo Grill was a very good one. I would certainly return, but my brisket platter has to look like a platter and not just three small pieces lol. Thank you to everyone there.

As always the brisket was spot on and included a generous enough serving to take some away. The chicken sausage gumbo was really good as well.

This place is an awesome stop on the way to the airport. The sliced brisket sandwich was amazing! Prices are about what you would expect for some amazing food! This place should expect to see me every time I come to New Orleans. Also of note is this place respects military members and offers an impressive 20% discount.
