I traveled all over the US. I believe they have the best pizza ever for what I like!. Thin crust, pepperoni, and black olives. They don’t skimp on any topping!!! I can’t say I’ve been to every Abbey’s. (but been too many with similar experience), but the one off of River Road in Eugene, Oregon is to die for. It’s my first and last place to eat when visiting family in Eugene!!! It’s been super great since I was 19 years old, and I’m now 64. Unfortunately, I haven’t lived there that entire time. Joined Navy, now live in Michigan (damn work that pays the bills…I mean not being able to live in Eugene area anymore for the pizza, not the company for which I work). If you ever get the chance to visit the River Road Abbey’s you can send me the bill if you can’t fine something that you think is amazing.

We ordered a pizza for delivery was told 45 minutes took an hour and 20 min food was cold potato spuds soft. Pizza was good but not hot. We will not order delivery again I only live 2.1 miles away a seven minute drive.

Of course Abbys pizza is good. However, the customer service at the River Road location is NOT GOOD. It is horrible. I ordered my pizza in advance then went to pick it up. I’m standing between the two counters looking at all the employees, one of whom was a manager, and none of them greets me nor casts a friendly nod or smile. In fact, three of them walked right past me, the manager twice walks past mind you, and NO ONE asked how they could help. I finally noticed two boxes on top of the oven way in the back and finally inquired about my order. Lo and behold it was! It had been sitting there the whole time (nearly 10 minutes). Garbage service. Garbage. You can do better guys. It’s only up from here!

Abby’s has been around for almost as long as I have been. Established in 1964, their quality is unwavering. I absolutely love their Potato Rounds, Salads & of course their Pizza! We got a curly cup pepperoni, pineapple & roasted garlic pizza this time & wow was it terrific!♡

I love that they still do the kids free pizza on Halloween. The River Rd location is always super chill. We went early, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Great service, yummy pepperoni pizza, and an awesome game of Uno with my grandson was a fun way to start our Halloween festivities.

Abby’s Pizza is a slice of heaven in a world of ordinary pies. They really, consistently have the best pizza in town. My old favorite was Papas, but the quality and friendliness have seemed to go downhill there. So now we always get Abbys everytime now for takeout or dining in. Love the atmosphere there, it’s got that good old classic feel that reminds me of when I was a kid, but not to old or run down. They take great care of the place! The Video Lottery is also a great perk, I always seem to come out a little ahead there. 🙂 so I be sure to leave a good tip too! Too many places expect tips now days for doing nothing but I feel like the Abbys staff actually deserves tips for they’re outstanding work! They definitely got my family and myself hooked for life! Can’t wait until the next time! Keep up the great work guys! Thank You!

We had a birthday for my sister Lucy!! There had to be at least 30 people or more ! I thought the pizza was pretty good!! Their chopped salad was fantastic!! It’s a nice place!! They have a video poker room- 21 and over. Lots of winners come out of there. It’s nice in there!! They have some games. My issue was every single game was out of order. One employee told us they belonged to a private company so they couldn’t do anything if u lose your money. I didn’t like that u.couldnt just pop in quarters. They need to make sure that the owners are doing their job by making sure the machines are working. We had alot of disappointed kids and adults!! Here comes the cringing part of my review!! So I’m sorta wierd when it comes to the restrooms!! Maybe it’s not wierd actually!! I took a few pics before I left!!! This is a big company with different places. The toilet seat was dreadful. As much money as they make, how much is a toilet seat?? $ 20 or so!! Cmon Abbys don’t be legendary for having a grossly stained toilet seat!! Ewe!! You have this clean dining place then you have to use the restroom. I held it til I got home.

Typical old school pizza joint w/ TMNT pinball, basketball, & a few prize machines. Came here for a huge event for my family. Their pizza was OKAY – Definitely needed more sauce. I asked for more marinara and they tried charging us separately for it. We also were looking into their salads, but they didn’t even have a vinaigrette dressing which I thought was silly. I’d get pizza elsewhere. The best thing about this place is the bowling alley next door 🙂

I am over this place and that makes me sad. Abby’s has been an institution in the Santa Clara area for decades.
My most recent experience is as follows.
I ordered one pizza for pick up and the person on the phone said it would be ready in 25-30 minutes
I showed up 25 minutes later and payed the bill. At that time the person said it would be 20 more minutes. I was frustrated but said ok and went and sat down to wait for them to call my name. 40 minutes later i went to the counter to ask them how much longer my pizza would be they asked my name I told them and they went to the oven and my pizza was sitting on the top of the oven. I asked how long has it been ready and they had no idea.
So I am very frustrated and this is not the first debacle from this place. So unfortunately at this point they have lost a long time customer
