The service here is absolutely fantastic . The cheesecake is some of the best you can ever get and the pesto is garlic and delicious. Menu changes often however I wish that it was a printed menu instead of a QR code. Definitely a great place to try if you’re looking for a pasta fix.

Justa Pasta’s atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and consistently so good. The open kitchen adds a homey touch, and the heated patio makes it a year round favorite. Their handmade pasta is incredible, especially the lasagna and seafood saffron risotto. Excellent wine list and don’t skip dessert either. The cheesecake is light and creamy, so unreal. I moved from LA last year, and this has become my go to spot for comfort Italian in Portland!

We chose this pasta place because my daughter has visited once before and loved it. We had the lasagna and Alfredo with wheat penne. They served crusty bread with olive oil and balsamic dressing. The bread was a little too crunchy for our liking. Both dishes were very good. For dessert, we tried the chocolate bread pudding, which was more like a cake. All the food came out quickly and the servers were very friendly. Next time, we’ll try the heated outdoor seating.

I had the spinach penne (vegan), mixed green salad and complimentary bread. The bread traditional can sometimes be hard but this was not, soft and with the provided oils was a great opener to get the stomach ready for eating. Mixed greens were just that, but the spinach penne was outstanding, my service was professional, 90’s mix on the radio, I really got the feel they were happy in their own thing and it was a great vibe. This was a great experience and I’m so glad I made the right person happy to give me a gift card here. I’ll be back soon with my kids.

The server was really great. I didn’t catch his name, but he was super helpful. He told me I could mix Alfredo and pesto sauce and I wish more restaurants would offer that. Especially love their pesto – it’s super garlicky in a great way. Brought my newborn and we sat inside – he quickly took a nap.

Fantastic pasta, fantastic marinara sauce and wonderful staff. Overall, great Italian food

Walked by this restaurant during our last visit to Portland back in November and since it’s always crowded, we decided to give it a try. Great choice.

For a starter we ordered the Insalata with organic mixed greens, grilled d’anjou pears, gorgonzola dulce, candied walnuts with a balsamic vinaigrette. The salad is fresh and quite good. Loved the walnuts.

For our meal, I ordered the four cheese lasagna with a marinara sauce. The marinara is pure Sicilian with fresh whole tomatoes and perfect taste and not to acidic. The lasagna was fantastic, many layers of pasta and cheese covered with sauce.

My partner ordered the cheese ravioli with the marinara and loved his dish. Our son ordered the ravioli with a pumpkin filling and the marinara sauce which he said was amazing. His partner ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and a marinara sauce telling us that the meatballs were very good and tasted fresh.

For dessert we tried the cheesecake which was super rich, and the vanilla ice cream.

The food is fresh to order and very tasty, we just loved the marinara sauce, being vegetarian it’s hard to find a great meatless sauce.

The staff are friendly and available to assist with the menu. We had the privilege of the owners daughter assisting our table and we felt like friends after the meal.

Overall, great food.

Amazing service and food. I went in tonight on a date night with my partner. We haven’t been in here in a few years. I was impressed by the staff, their kindness, attention and the food was amazing. Got the organic salad with sherry vinaigrette, chilled red wine ( holy cow finally a place has this!) and the chicken sausage ravioli. My partner got the pomadoro and stout beer. Both were great and he was happy with the protein portion (chicken) of his dish. Overall an amazing night here. Grateful for the nice staff, as we started out at the bar, thought it was too cold and moved. They were attentive and helpful when I had questions and needed more wine. THANK YOU. I rarely get to go out and this experience exceeded my expectations. We will be back soon. 10 stars.

This restaurant is my absolute favorite in Portland, I’ve been more times than I can count and they never miss. Every dish is prepared perfectly with subtle but dynamic flavors; you can tell the chefs put a lot of care into crafting their recipes. Please don’t skip on the Kale Caesar or the cheesecake!

I finally had time to visit here on a weekday. The outside seating area has a long heating system above and is warm enough to spread throughout. Inside, the place is not that big with only 5-6 tables. counter and in the back. There is a bar area in the back. We had 3 Cheese Ravioli with Pesto Sauce and Tagliatelle Pasta (add chicken breast) and the Cheesecake. The pasta was very tasty and elegant, and the ravioli was also excellent. The cheesecake was rare cheesecake and the tasted great with black coffee. The restaurant has a parking lot, but it only holds about 5-6 cars, so it fills up quickly. We visited during lunch time, so it was difficult to park the car, but next time we will definitely visit on a holiday to try other dishes and enjoy wine.
