I had the cream cheese jalapeno burger which was very good. The meat was juicy. My wife had the whitefish sandwich which was also very good. Service was good. They were super busy so they weren’t right on top of things but you can’t blame them. They’re busy which is good for business but the atmosphere was great. Food was good. Tasty beer can top it. Thanks for the memories.

Wow! This place has AMAZING burgers!! I had the Northwoods burger (bacon, cheddar, and cola caramelized onions) and it was delicious. Looks simple, nothing fancy, but the tastes and smells make up for the looks. The bar was very clean and all the staff were super friendly. Bathrooms were spotless, which is always a good sign to me. Fries were perfectly cooked too. My husband had the cream cheese burger with jalapeños to try something new and he loved it! Highly recommend for a simple but delicious meal if you are in the area!

I stopped in at this place while driving up the Lake Superior shoreline. Generally speaking, my experience was somewhat dull. The menu was not large and the service was kind of impatient and not very personable.
As for food, I ordered the burger, which supposedly is one of the more popular items on the menu. It was very average if you ask me.
However, the beer selection was good. I only had a Budwiser though before heading back on the road.
The atmosphere was pretty bar-like, if that makes sense. It was upbeat but not really unique or anything memorable.
Overall, despite the good beer selection, this was a pretty average bar if you ask me. If ever given another opportunity, trying their fish fry on Fridays may be the way to go.
