We frequent Chipotle often. The meal was delicious, however it was the staff and their outstanding service that made this particular visit review worthy. The gentlemen were friendly and engaging, listening with intent. I cannot recommend this location enough. By far the preferred Chipotle in the greater Wilmington area. This location was incredibly clean and the staff were nice, enthusiastic and extremely polite. The food was prepared fresh and the ingredients were all equally fresh. The entire condiment and drink bar was clean and fully stocked. Definitely will be returning the next time I’m in the mood for Chipotle.

I would recommend NOT ordering delivery from this location. We have had multiple instances now of ordering food for delivery, having part of the order arrive, and driving across town to recieve the rest of it. I suppose it’s my fault for assuming an accident wouldn’t continue to happen, but whatever. The folks at the store claim they are unable to do anything by way of refunding delivery fees, and that we need to contact doordash. Once you go on a treasure hunt to figure out how to complain to doordash, they say you must contact the store. Since the issue is the store failing to hand something to a driver, I’m inclined to agree with doordash on that one. To top it off, you can’t contact a human at Chipotle unless you yell at a robot for 30 minutes. That human then tells you to go to the store. Food’s great, just never order it for delivery, or expect any customer service solutions once they take your money.

I have never given a one star review. I dislike writing negative reviews and for anyone that has read my other reviews you know I always wait and go back to a restaurant several times before posting a negative review. With this one I just do not get it at all. Every time I have been here the kitchen and seating area has been dirty. Lots of the food options are empty or barely any left / old looking. This past time the two employees that helped me did not even speak to me. They just looked at me and waited for me to tell them what I wanted. The lettuce was soaked in water. It was dripping with water when it was put in my bowl. There were several options out of food(see pics). The employees attitude was as if they were annoyed and did not want to be there. My food was made terrible and it was so soggy It was terrible. This is not the first time this has happened. I have been here many times over several years and have had similar experiences every-time. Other Chipotles I have been to are not like this. I have never even had a bad experience at another location. Very unfortunate.

Just left there and got a half, of a half scoop of rice. smallest amount i’ve ever received for ten bucks. never again tho. i’ll continue to go but best believe i’ll make sure this shit don’t happen again. It was some black curly hair child, paid ten bucks for 1/5 of my normal order.

Every time I come to this establishment, I ask for an extra side of cilantro. I was in last night and received cilantro, but today there was a problem and the cashier informed me that he couldn’t give me cilantro. Not sure what the difference between last night and today was but I will go somewhere else where I can get cilantro and it not be an issue.

This location is always skimping on their portions for bowls, on literally every ingredient. And when you ask for more you get a stanky look. Thats why its never busy in there.
You’re better off going to the other Chipotle off Oleander. They stuff their bowls and its always packed in there for this very reason. Its a short drive away and totally worth it.

I went to this location and asked about allergen information as I have an allergy to an item in the salsa and wanted to confirm that item wasn’t in the marinade for the meats. I was met with confusion and several employees laughing and snickering to each other as one worker scrambled to find the information for me. It made me feel awful being giggled about and in front of about an allergy that I have. I didn’t feel comfortable asking for further information and felt very uncomfortable with the situation all around.

This location NEVER gets an entire order right. We have ordered from here numerous times but there is ALWAYS something missing or wrong. Our most recent and final order was for 2 burrito bowls, 1 steak, 1 chicken, and a quesadilla. They got the quesadilla right, the first bowl had chicken and was very sloppily made with subpar ingredients, the second was empty with a scoop of chicken in it. No sign of the steak bowl anywhere. This location is absolutely horrible.

Edit to post: they called right away and put the money back on our card. Customer service is definitely 5 stars both times they handled it immediately. Changed rating to 3 stars solely for that reason. Still won’t go back though.
These people just can’t get it right. We ordered food earlier this week. The rice wasn’t cooked, guac was super spicy for some reason, chicken was burnt and tasted awful. We let them know on door dash and they gave us 2 vouchers to correct the issue. Today my work day was long so decided to use one of the vouchers ( they won’t let you redeem both at once) ordered food again. My bowl was nearly empty. The sticker on the lid read my order correctly, however inside the bowl half the ingredients were missing. I’m seriously just over it. It’s awful being hangry and then your already over priced food comes half empty.
