Amazing! Food was great and the staff were super friendly.
I had a mini pecan roll, mini cinnamon roll, 2 filled doughnut holes. The pecan roll was my favorite by far! It was still warm when I ate it.

I always enjoy a stop in here for a tasty treat that reminds me of goodies my grandmother would make. This bakery is a wonderful place to stop for a delicious cookie, pie or roll. She also makes lovely bread loaves as well.

A must stop in Waverly, IA if you like tasty baked goods. We bought six donut holes that were top notch – big, fresh, lightly sugared, just right. And not to be missed is a loaf of cranberry wild rice bread, you need to try it!

My husband and I were craving cinnamon rolls on a Saturday afternoon. We knew they would probably be sold out, so we called ahead. They were out of cinnamon rolls, but offered to make us some fresh ones and were able to do so within an hour! They were still hot when we picked them up and they really hit the spot! It was the best cinnamon roll I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!

Victoria was great to work with for our wedding cake! She was open to our ideas for flavors and design, and brought the vision I had in my head to life! She even dropped our cake off at our venue and added the finishes touches of flowers and cake topper the day of. The cake was delicious and beautifully decorated! They also offered us a cake tasting ahead of time. Would highly recommend!

The Mixing Bowl is great for the NE IA and the GF white bread along with pastries being the “best” since having to change flours 20 yrs ago. The city needs to finish the street so the trip is simple for the town with only one bridge.

The bakery is really clean and beautiful inside. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pull-apart dinner rolls were so yeasty and soft. I tried the chocolate chip cookies which were very buttery and chewy with loads of chips! The raspberry lace cookies were perfect, not too sweet. I am so impressed with the quality of their baked goods and can’t wait to go back to get some more!! <3
