Do NOT get the tater tots. Its overfried, felt more like a chip than anything. Maybe also just bad luck.
Elote corn is super good.
Skip the smoked salmon.

Came here for my birthday dinner and only liked one dish.
Truffle tots – I’m pretty sure they were from a bag and waaayy too fried. We couldn’t even stick a fork in them without them crumbling apart. Smoked salmon – very dry.
Tri-tip – it was recommended to be cooked medium rare by the chef and it came out so chewy that it was inedible. My jaw hurt from the first bite. Bison tips – the best dish but, a warning, they have gravy under the entire dish. It was good but pretty heavy.
Honey dipper (non-alcoholic) – amazing tea! I think it would have been great with the whiskey as well.

The food was really good. The steak was cooked to perfection. Our server was not very friendly, nor attentive. We had to ask for everything, often having to ask other people when ours was nowhere to be seen. We really wish we had Maggie or Andy to make the meal perfect.

Seated quickly as there was an opening and a reservation was made. Service was attentive for about 10 minutes and then completely disappeared. Drinks and appetizers arrived. Once done, main dish showed up with no clearing of appetizer dishes and drinks. We had to scramble to clear space enough to even set entrees somewhere on table. A second drink was ordered which never showed up. Had to get a different server to bring the drink which finally showed up at very end of meal. No explanation or apology. Water refill was promised which again showed up near end of meal. After much waiting and trying to find our server she finally showed up asking if we wanted dessert. We politely declined and asked for our bill.
This was our second visit to this establishment with very similar experience. Although food itself was good, we will never be back and can’t in good conscience recommend to anyone else.

Vegetarians will not be disappointed! The cauliflower steak entree had so much flavor that I couldn’t pick what would be my favorite! Amy was our waitress and very attentive and personable. She let me know the spice level of the sauce so I could put it on the side to control the level I wanted. My mom had the salmon and loved it. Becky was the hostess and also very personable and checked in even after we were seated and eating. There was also a very nice wine selection. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing. Will definitely return. It is smaller so make a reservation.

This place came highly recommended and after trying once to get, we succeeded this time. It was a Sunday night and not busy but we still had reservations. Our server, Andrew was amazing! We started with a wedge and shared it which was perfect. Then we had the bolognese and ribs and they were both incredible. Never had meat fall off the bones like that. Ended with a blood orange cake and ice cream. Can’t wait to go back!!

Loved the cozy atmosphere, quick and friendly service, and the great value for money. Everything is Summit County has gotten out of control over the past few years, and prices are still very reasonable here for quality food and decent portions. The hand cut fries were great, and the truffle tots were also tasty. The Jamaican Jerk sauce on the chicken sandwich is one of the best sauces I’ve ever tasted. Wish I could buy a bottle to take home with me – you can tell everything is made fresh in-house. In addition, the chicken was tender, juicy, and deliciously breaded.
We will definitely be back to hit up some Happy Hours and bring family when they’re in town!

Tavern West is the best restaurant in the Frisco area. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was outstanding tonight, and the food was fantastic. We all love every single dish that we had and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough if you’re in the area and looking for a special meal.
