I throughly enjoyed the diner and the time I had was wonderful. When you get your food it comes in HUGE portions and fills you up with delicious food

The food and service was really good, the tables and chairs were clean and the decor was nice.
It was comfortable to sit and the portions were filling. The only request I have is a non-dairy option for cream along with the coffee, as we had 3 people who are lactose intolerant.
Would highly recommend!

A delightful eatery! Superior menu with so many options it was difficult to decide. Guess I’ll be coming back multiple times to try everything!! Though located on a very busy street it has an opening on another side. Easy in and out. The decor is mountaineering country, split log siding and cozy. Thecserive was swift and competent and very friendly. I can’t wait to go back! Out the window I was thrilled to watch my favorite flock of birds…the Canada Goose!

Passed by on my way from a long trip. It’s definitely worth it! I love homely and local breakfast and lunch places like this. Will be back when I pass through again.

I had to wait to get a table the waitress was talking to customers about her own personal stuff she finally sat me down I had to ask for coffee and a water She went back to talk to the customers about personal stuff before she took my order . I ordered my food I ordered the senior breakfast with French toast , eggs and bacon – I always get the whipped butter when I go there – she brought me my food the portions are getting smaller . I asked her if they don’t have their whipped butter anymore, she replied I thought since you are having sugar free syrup you didn’t want the whipped? How can a waitress assume what the customer wants ? I come in there she knows that I order the sugar free syrup ( she forgets it all the time ) she gave me the imitation butter . The service , food is getting worse . I am tired of getting my food orders wrong , poor service and the food not edible.Bad customer service

I dont know about the service because I ordered online however, I was very dissapointed to find they made their pancakes with cake batter. Ive been here once before, the food was ok but nothing special. This time the cake batter pancakes were just too sweet and cakey, it wasnt what I expect from pancakes. I would try the resturaunt again considering that being the only major issue, but overall not impressed by the food and definitely not the atmosphere. You can expect to walk into a slightly despressing ripoff of black bear diner.

This was a great breakfast experience. It is well liked by the locals. It is easy to find using Google Maps. The restaurant is very clean. The staff were great and the food was delicious. This is a strong recommend for anyone traveling north of San Francisco. There is plenty of parking and easy access to major highways or as the gateway to your Pacific Coast Highway adventure on north.

We found a place that seemed to be run by a very friendly couple. It was easy to find and get in and out. The building is a little dated which is why I gave it a 4 star for atmosphere. However, the food made up for it! I had the banana French toast made with homemade banana bread topped with sliced banana and orange butter (creamy butter with orange zest). I added blueberries to the toast and am glad I did. It was a huge serving, no way I could have eaten all of it. I also go the yogurt parfait which had a great selection of fresh fruit. It, too, was huge but I knocked it out because it was so good. My hubby got the steak and eggs which he said was perfectly cooked and seasoned. He also got the sourdough toast and claimed it was the best he had eaten. This is a great place to get a meal, don’t pass it up if you’re in town!

Very nice place for breakfast. It was quiet for a weekday morning and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The decor is well thought out for the theme and it was very clean. Country music playing quietly.

We had Flapjacks and the Little Jack. The Flapjacks we’re enormous and tasty, with whipped butter and maple syrup. The Little Jack came with one egg, country potatoes, bacon and the largest biscuit we’ve ever seen – all good.
