When a restaurant opens I always like to give them three tries to work out the kinks. I ordered the first two times when you had first opened and I had minor issues the first two times. The first time my beef sandwich was missing the aujus. The second time, my order had been misplaced or not rang in all the way and when I got there it wasn’t made yet. Tonight I ordered for the third time and my food was absolutely delicious and ready upon arrival. Staff could be a tad more friendly/personable, but otherwise everything was fantastic!

I visit Kewanee a few times a year (it is where my grandparents lived for their whole married life) and I was really excited to try a new place when we went up for Hog Days weekend! I thought the vibe on social media was really fresh and fun, and I want to see family owned businesses succeed. We wanted to try something we couldn’t get at another place, so we got the spaghetti pizza and brought it home. And oh my LORD! This pizza was HEFTY! It was thick, cheesy, and still warm when we got home roughly an hour later. So hearty and filling! We placed the order online and it was ready prior to the estimated pickup time. SO good, y’all. I’m still thinking about it. We will definitely be back! I’m really glad Kewanee has something like this in town!

The individuals who operate this business are exceptional professionals. The pizzas are phenomenal and freshly prepared. I firmly believe the prices are extremely reasonable, so if you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out. Give them an opportunity. You won’t regret it.

Disappointed. Ordered two different pizzas, and bread sticks. I liked that they used large pieces of chicken that you could actually see but was very disappointed that nothing had any taste. The pepperoni pizza tasted like school lunch. The pizza sauce was bland. The chicken bacon ranch pizza included chicken and bacon but the chicken wasn’t seasoned at all. Maybe they forgot to add the ranch sauce to the pizza altogether because, again, there was no flavor. The cheese sticks had some kind of Italian seasoning dumped on them but very little cheese. Which goes to the base of the problem. The crust falls flat. No flavor, no seasoning, and the only taste was from the flour that was still covering the bottom. Do not recommend and will not be back.

I order here a lot. Their food is excellent. The soup is a favorite. Customer service is great. I had placed an order when I was sick to go get but then I couldn’t get there. They went out of their way to make sure I still received my order. We absolutely love the food and will continue to order from here.

This pizza is so good! I love how they don’t skimp on toppings or cheese. It’s full of toppings and full of cheese, like a hearty pizza should be! The owners are super nice and the family’s grandparents are from Italy so they got skills! Also the beef roll is unlike anything I’ve had around here- yum! So thankful for a family-owned pizza place bringing great food to Kewanee and I’m happy to support small family businesses in our area.

The basis of a good pizza is always the crust, and this crust isn’t good. It was like a tasteless saltine cracker. Sauce is super sweet, not like a traditional marinara. Toppings were average, nothing special. Cheese sticks were tasteless. We ordered 2 hours ahead of time, and when we got there we were told it would be another 40 minutes, so almost 3 hours for 2 pizzas and a cheese stick order. Believe the total was about $65. Pretty pricey for the quality IMO.

The pizza man is a genius! Seriously. I just ate the best taco pizza I have ever had! That’s a specialty pizza they don’t always have. The usual food is amazing too though! I love the dough and the sauce is perfect! This place is also so much more than pizza! I’m glad Kewanee has something different. But the best pet is the salads! I have always had to make salad at home if I want a decent one in the past. The dinner salads here are delicious though, with fresh and tasty produce! It’s good lettuce too! Yum!

I was looking forward to a new pizza joint in Kewanee. I was disappointed and I know my pizza. The sauce is sweet and I like that but not much flavor. The dough is home made and I thought that will be awesome. Unfortunately the dough had no flavor and should be crispy but was chewy maybe due to oven not being hot enough. There was a lot of flour under the dough. They should consider using corn mill at the bottom much better. Anyways I know they just opened and maybe they will make improvements. I hope the beef sandwiches are better than the pizza. Will see and I’ll let you know…

The real deal – fresh , consistent , and lots of options between pizza and pasta. They do pasta right and the sauce is great. Highly recommend – almost a weekly pickup for us now.
