Housed inside an unassuming strip mall, Bettolino Kitchen aims to give you an unexpected experience that rivals those of the big guns. Owned and operated by 4th generation South Bay Restaurateurs, Bettolino Kitchen takes a modern spin on dishes you would come to expect in a classic Italian restaurant.
All pastas are homemade, desserts are freshly baked, cocktails are scratch-made and decor is a breath of fresh air. We source local produce whenever possible and have a recycle program in place to help reduce our carbon footprint.
We specialize in homemade pasta and fresh seafood but have something to please everyone on your list.
Handmade pasta dominates the menu of this family-run spot with a spare, casual ambiance.

If you are looking for authentic Italian food, ciao ciao. This place is fusion Italian so if you’re looking for something that is very Italian authentic, you’ll be disappointed. Al dente pasta was surprisingly well presented! But not like Italian authentic pasta, it was a bit salty. (Authentic Italian food is very plain) Del mare, which is linguine pasta with lobster, halibut, shrimp, scallops and more… was good but a bit salty. Maybe because we just came from Italy, American food is bit salty. Betto box, which is chef’s choice of 4 was good. Glass of Montepulchiano was good as well. Good vibe and friendly staffs.

We have enjoyed dining at Bettolino for both lunch and dinner.. all the courses are excellent. The fish was just as great as their pastas. They also offer some hearty choices with red meat. Whatever you choose the food is all made with care and the flavors are mainly simple but oh so good. Nothing here is too complicated or trendy, the type of dishes that I will still want to order years from now. The service is top notch and the interior is a beautiful space for any occasion, elegantly understated and just the right upscale but still inviting balance. Everything here is comfortable, welcoming, and you leave extremely happy you came in.

A perfect dining experience at this restaurant. The service were so good and we were so lucky that we went there on Thursday. Free 1 bottle corkage. The olive oil with herbs for the bread is a hidden gem. We have fish and pork for main and both were so good. 100% recommended this place.

Date night out for my partner’s birthday! The food was excellent! Our server was sweet but professional and knew the menu well! It was a Monday night and that is “Date Night” there (I had no idea) so it was $75 for our appetizer, both entree’s (we chose higher priced items so it wasn’t the typical $65)!!! Incredible deal! Again, the food was sooooooooo good!
The fresh bread before our appetizer came out was delightful, our appetizer (CARCIOFI PESTO) was scrumptious! We did like eating it with the fresh bread moreso than the bread that came with it (the crunch was nice but it was difficult to dip and eat the appetizer with the thin crispy bread with so many big holes in it). Our entree’s were the Brasato (so tender and flavorful) and Capesante di Aragosta. The scallops were ok -they were seared and had a great texture with minimal seasoning- and the seafood bisque was made with lobster which was scrumptious!!!!
Our desert was good too!
Definitely recommend!!!
The photo booth was a fun extra as well!!!
The ONLY thing I’d love to be different would be for seating to allow for more privacy.
Each team member seemed genuinely to want us to have a good experience and we’re all very kind and interactive.

Excellent from the moment we walked in. It’s the real deal. Service —- excellent recommendations. There were 4 of us. I had lasagna…it was legit. Over the top! Everyone else was also thrilled with their choices. Dessert…get the graham with the salty caramel. You’ll thank me. The homemade limoncello…a MUST! Loved the conversations & history with everyone we encountered. Wish we went here earlier in our vacation. All four of us were grateful. Legit Italian!

It has taken me a year to come here and leave this review. This restaurant has been my husband and I neighborhood restaurant where we have dined every weekend for seven years straight. About one year back, we went to dine as usual, we have gotten to know the staff but that night, the waitress that waited on us seemed new. She took our orders and was very pleasant. Minutes later she comes back rushing, sits on one of the chairs in our table, and says to my husband: “I am so relieved, the kitchen staff informed me that you have a twin brother and it is your twin brother that has been brining all these women to dine here” my husband responds I don’t have a twin brother, she then laughs and says ops maybe I am mistaken you with someone that looks like you. She returns to the kitchen giggling. Of course that incident caused an unpleasant night for us. The next day we when back and each individually addressed management. My husband demanded to speak to the owner. The response we got was that he waitress is known for such pranks but that they will be speaking to her about the pranks. We have not stepped foot there again. The incident reflected an unsafe and an unprofessional place. The response also reflected lack of appreciation for repeated customers. The prank or whatever that was, was extremely unprofessional and ill minded. If it was truly a prank then it shows the level of professionalism the staff carry around and the lack of respect they have for their customers, and if it was a mistaken identity it also shows lack of professionalism. The response from the owner was possibly as bad as the act of his staff. Calling a very disturbing incident a prank adds insult to injury.
I hope they have put better policies and work manuals in place that will protect their customers.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch with my family here. We had the calamari, carbonara, gnocchi, the squid ink pasta, the cannoli cheesecake, and lastly, the semifreddo.
We enjoyed all of the food, but the food that stood out the most for us was the calamari, especially when paired with the lemon aioli.
The service was great as well. Freddy was a fantastic server, though everyone we interacted with was fantastic.
If I lived here, I’d go at least once a week, just trying all of the different food and daily specials.

This place is very nice, but it seems they have some obsession with beans. Every single dish we ordered had beans in one form or another. The food was good, though, and it was possible to avoid the beans in most dishes, so they weren’t that much of a problem really. The service is fantastic, and the waiters are very attentive and friendly. Very nice booths with comfortable seating and private atmosphere.

One of my favorite spots in the Riviera! Menu is well-priced and has many options, with a phenomenal happy hour menu and daily specials/deals (date night on Monday!). Love that the restaurant also does community events such as Toy Drives and Blood Donations

This is a surprising great plan in a slightly off the beaten path location. Great food and service, and good wine options. Some say it is the best Italian in the area, but that’s just what HenryJ says, so you will have to go see for yourself! We just came back and had an amazing Tagliatelle Bolognese. The calamari con gamberi was also fantastic. If you like a good red wine try the Zach Brown cab.
