Food was really great, but we found that mild was way to spicy for us. My wife got number 36 and I got 44. They tasted pretty much the same but I’d say her’s was better. I’m not sure if our server was also working the kitchen, but I probably had the worst service I’ve had all year at a restaurant. I basically had to demand to finally get some water, and I had to go find my own napkins. It took FOREVER to get our food, but at least it was good. I don’t think I’ll be coming back, but I might try the buffet.

Traffic combined with heat convinced me to skip the long drive to my go to spot & to try a new local spot.
We called our order in the old fashioned way, gentlemen who answered the phone was super friendly & even friendlier in person.
Restaurant was completely empty, so we were in & out.
Snagged 2 orders of garlic naan. Tasty but a few pieces were slightly over cooked on the bottom, but I’m a gentleman and ate them so my grrl didn’t have too.
Cheese Naan. Not impressed. A sprinkle of cheddar? Most of it stuck to tin foil.
Butter Chicken. We both got the mild. I didn’t think it was spicy, but my grrl has a different tolerance for heat than me, thats for sure.
I thought the chicken was marinated well, and the sauce was tasty. Fresh herbs, plenty of flavor, great gravy for the steamed basmati rice.
I enjoyed everything, could definitely see myself dining in or ordering door dash now that I’ve had it once. 4 solid stars, leaving room for improvement on future visit.

I stumbled across this place on my way home and decided to give it a try. The gentleman at the front was very kind and welcoming. The food was full of flavor, and the spice level was perfectly on point. I’ll definitely be back again.

My family and I were at this restaurant on Sunday early evening. The owner and the server provided outstanding service. They were very accommodating in the food selection I needed because I needed a subsitution on my order. The food was authentic and very delicious. I would encourage anyone in the area to give this place a try. The music was fantastic as well!!!

The food was amazing just as the service. It was all reasonably price for a more than decent amount of food. The server was very attentive to my wife and I and even gave us suggestions for our first time in there. The presentation, much like the taste, was amazing. Well definitely be going back for more.

Very new and clean restaurant. Service has been fine, but sometimes the food takes forever to come out. Prices are average. The appetizers are great.

The food here was amazing! As a vegan there were plenty of options and the staff was very helpful in deciding what to order. I got the Veg Curry with Roti, mild, and it was delicious. Everyone should give this place a try. We will definitely be back again 🙂

Spicebowl is a gem in St. Clair Shores. I walked in while one of the staff members was praying, and it immediately set a warm, peaceful tone. The customer service was amazing, the atmosphere welcoming, and the food was absolutely superb. You can feel the care in every detail. I’ll definitely be back.

First time here and went on a Monday for lunch. Practically empty. But I heard that most of their patrons do carry out.
Had the lamb/goat dish cooked with ghee with mild spice (lowest level of spice heat) and white rice. You have choices of how hot you want your spices. Next time I come I’ll order the next level up. The rice was nicely cooked and flakey, not wet and sticky.
Mr. Tazul was the server and was very attentive. Great service!
My guest had the hot spicey chicken fried rice. It was her 3rd time dining in and enjoyed her dish.
Will definitely come again!
