Local oyster farm “palapa” restaurant. Look for the signs and pay attention! Once you take the off-road, it is bumpy, but very solid hard dirt. You don’t have to go in “sand”
At least 15 min out of the city; worth the travel. Right next to the water where they farm and pull the oysters (not for swimming!)
Fresh oysters and delicious shrimp tacos. Not extensive menu, but tasty and well served.
Live music playing. I enjoyed the ambience, but may have a been a bit loud. Unsure if they play there daily or what.

Very unique place. Right off the water on the oyster farm. Can be a bit chilly in the winter months. They have an extensive menu, not just oysters. The staff are very helpful and good at explaining how things are cooked. Out door seating. Very casual, not fancy. Great place to come chill, but the road to get there is not the best.

Shoreline no frills open atmosphere. Excellent oysters; both fresh and cooked. Restrooms are what you would expect from an off grid restaurant in Mexico

Amazing food and hospitality. The staff here was so nice. The oysters and shrimps were very fresh. The quesadilla were a nice surprise, so cheesy and the tortillas were very crispy. Definitely a must stop when visiting Puerto Peñasco. Totally worth the 15min drive from the downtown area.

The oysters are fresh but they are served room temp. You can see them fishing for the oysters from the restaurant. The view is amazing!! You do have to drive on a long sandy road to get there. We got 3 dozen oysters and 2 fish ceviche tostadas for $30!

A hidden gem outside of town. 10$ for a dozen oysters, mantra Rey tacos and quesadillas, and a dining experience you can’t get anywhere else! Covered outdoor patio, tires tuned into seats, and bring your own beer and drinks, all stack up to something incredible and magical! The best time to dine is for the late afternoon sunset, where the tide rolls out and the oysters you are wanting to eat are being hand pick in front of your eyes! There is no place I have day down with a better dining experience than this restaurant! This is a must dining for any seafood lover!

Amazing! Oyster farm El barco was very attentive to us friendly and the view is amazing. oysters fresh from the sea and delicious. We ordered cooked and raw oysters. Served with crackers, limes and different salsas to choose from. Sign states charge for food or drinks brought in. They do sell beer or soda on site. Also they have fish ceviche ( fish cooked in limes), sting ray tacos or quesadillas or plain quesadillas for those who don’t eat oysters. Cash only. I am sure they take dollars but we paid in pesos. Defined will return. Other oyster places state byob so be advised
