The pricing at this place is out of control. $18 for a full grinder. Even though if you elect to order online its only $16. I guess there’s a $2 charge for taking the effort to come in an patron your business. Maybe that’s why the place was absolutely dead. Usually we can’t get in an out in a timely manner the place is so packed. Food still took a while, being the only people in the joint. Went from hopping to ghost town.

Staff wasn’t overly rude, weren’t overly polite. They looked like they didn’t want to be there and didn’t want to deal with us. So we order our full Italian grinders. $18. My co-worker gets his without tomatoes, add jalopenos. They charge an additonal $1.75 for jalopenos. Shouldn’t they just cancel out? Isn’t he saving you the same money that you’re using to put Jalopenos on? Okay whatever, there’s a charge. Again if you order online for carryout, they charge $1. So in store its $1.75. So a sandwich that is $16.99 online to order is $19.74 to order in store. Make that make sense? They charge more to use the chairs and napkins? To eat their brown ketchup that’s been sitting out for who knows how long? If I ordered carryout then just sat down to eat are they going to escort me out? Absolutely fleecing people who are dumb enough to try to support local eateries. Penn Station is down the road. Hell, Elmo’s is down the road. You’re losing out to a gas station at this point. After all that. They hit you with the “There’s a 4% service charge for using a card” nonsense. Which immediately puts you on my I’ll never eat here again list. What’s next? You charge me an electricity fee or you turn out the lights and I eat in the dark? I have to pay to keep your business going? On top of my purchasing your food? I have to pay your bill? Even though the Durbin Amendment capped transaction fees at 21 cents a charge? So I was charged like 58 cents (I can’t remember exactly because I asked for a receipet and wasn’t given one) for my fee. So I paid your 21 cent card fee and you took an additional 37 cents, just cause? So I end up paying just north of $20 for a grinder and a glass of water. Not sure if they charged for water, again I wasn’t given a receipt. My co-worker paid over $27 for a grinder, some jalopenos (emphasis on the some, see the attached photos), and a drink. Unreal. Then they have a spot for a tip. We’re supposed to tip on top eh? Of course we are. Gonna have to use Klarna to afford a sandwich soon.

Their food isn’t bad. But it isn’t $20+ good. You can get similar subs/grinders multiple places for cheaper. Shame on us for trying to eat local.

After all that my co-worker about mid way through his subs says aloud “are there even jalopenos on this?” we opened up the half of sub he had left….counted 4 jalopenos. Good thing he got charged $1.75 and .75 cents more than online. Almost felt personal from the ladies at the counter as my co-worker didn’t hide his displeasure about the cost. I also, 2/3rds of the way through, realized that there was green pepper on the sandwich. Tasted great with green pepper. I looked, I had like 3 cubes of it on my sandwich. When I’m paying $20+ for sandwich, better be worth it. Or I get nitpicky.

To say this was an overall disappointing experience is an understatement. We will not be back. By the looks of things, based on how little business you had at lunch, we’re not the only ones. Most people will silently quit you based on these prices. I’m not one to be silent. Particularly when there are borderline deceitful practices a foot.

Be Blessed.

(see attached photos to see the difference in price online and the laughable amount of extra jalopenos you’ll be charged for)

Mancino’s has always been my go to place to get a big sandwich for a reasonable price. NOT ANYMORE!!
Ordered a club grinder with extra bacon and extra cheese. 25 dollars and some change. Quite honestly the worst grinder I have ever gotten from the Coliseum store. Didn’t even call to complain because I live near Auburn and they probably would want me to drive all the way back to Fort Wayne. Got my 25 bucks this time. You won’t get it again!!!

I was in town following a work event and tried the grinder on recommendation from a colleague. I was not disappointed. The staff was really friendly too. While I was there I did see a lot of cleaning going on. I don’t know if that was by coincidence, but it seemed really clean during my lunch. Try the Italian!

What is the price that you price yourself out of business? Maybe I am cheap. Close to 20 a sandwich is ridiculous. Close to $ 40 for 2 sandwiches. And this time I actually think I got less on this sandwich then subway!!! BUT AS LONG AS YOU GOT YOUR MONEY IT’S ALL GOOD RIGHT!!!!

This is what I got from this location. Barely 4oz of meat on my 16 inch sandwich. This is NOT Mancinos standards. I won’t be back. They need to send their employees to the Sturgis, Michigan location for proper training.

cant really tell you how the food is…. because their ability to follow directions is… wild to say the least… have you ever felt like you were on punkd? literally just ask for steak cheese and mushrooms nothing else specifically listing all of the things you dont want(did it because first time I tried also resulted the same so I thought a list of dos and donts in the order would help… it didnt) and then receive the sandwich… with zero mushrooms… some steak some cheese(asked and was charged for extra) a pile of lettuce mayo onions and peppers(all the things listed that I did not want)…. like legit double portioned everything i said not to include…. twice… was reading the hard part?.. or did you just think you knew my preferences better than me? over charging that much for sandwich then telling me I have no rights to preference is crazy work this place is dead to me no clue why people are hyping it

After eating here I’m honestly shocked at how dead it was at dinner time on a Wednesday. The pizza is absolutely solid, easily a 7/10. The grinders are also great! Only having Pepsi products sucks, but the food is so good I was just drinking to get keep my mouth wet for the next bite of pizza.

The food is delicious, but the staff is worthless. What is the point of having good food if the staff sucks? … The staff treats you poorly. They do not respond properly, as if they do not like their jobs and they are not polite.
The worst part is that even the prices listed online are not the same as what they charge you.
I will never go back!
