Best pizza in Broward!!! Petes Pizzeria truly brings me back to the pizzerias from Brooklyn. Pete is always so welcoming and treats everyone like he knows you for years. His staff is superb! I have never had a Sicilian Slice (square) any where in Florida as good as Petes!! All of his food is delicious not just the pizza. This truly is a gem in Pompano!!!

You are very warmly welcomed from Peter and Nick! I ordered a cheese pizza slice and a pepperoni pizza a la vodka sauce. I asked for them to be xtra hot! OMG The cheese pizza slice was perfection! A perfect blend of cheese to sauce and foldable! NY style. Absolutely delicious! The huge slice of pepperoni a la vodka was what dreams are made of… so much flavor, cheesy, creamy, yummy beyond words!
I couldn’t finish it and brought it home for dinner!
I can’t wait to work my way through all the different varieties! Their White Pizza will be my next choice!
There’s plenty of parking and they even have outside seating!
The inside has a welcoming trendy spotless pizzeria vibe! Lots of seating is available. Trust me you’ll love it!

So I came across this restaurant on a foodies ig page. I’m glad i gave it a try. They have two locations, Pompano and East Boca. I love how welcoming and friendly everyone was. I wanted to order the fried ravioli but it was a minimum of 4, so I didn’t end up ordering it. After ordering my pizza, and sitting down, they bring us the slices, and gave us the ravioli to try. Their hospitality alone will have me coming back to support local businesses. We ordered a cheese, an eggplant, and a white pie, and all 3 were delicious. I wanted to try so many others. Dough and crust were perfect, thin and crispy. Peter also asked us how we enjoyed the pizzas and explained his process of the pizza making, he’s definitely skilled. I love that they don’t use any seed oils and get most ingredients straight from Italy. They also have a catering menu for larger parties or company lunches. I will definitely be back for the delicious pizza!

Update: since moving here recently we have made thus our new family favorite pizzeria. Every time we have dined here has been an amazing experience. Peter is amazing and my kids love sitting at the bar and watching him work. His passion for what he does is infectious. You can see he genuinely loves what he does. He also is more than happy to answer all the questions my kids throw at him about pizza making. He even let them make their own pizza on our last trip. 100% recommend !

One of the top 3 pizza places in all of Boca down to Pompano Beach…. Relaxed atmosphere…. Service is very friendly and fast, although you might experience a bit of a wait if you come during busy hours, because they do receive a lot of to-go and mobile orders. They have both think crust and deep crust style pizza and you can taste the quality… The crust has just enough crunch and retains it’s shape and texture without getting soggy….. Highly recommend if you just want a slice or entire pie…..

We come to Lauderdale by the sea every year for the last 39 years. Whenever we travel I search out the best pizza available. When on a food tour I asked who had the best pizza. I didn’t really expect a good answer, I expected to here the the town pizza! With all the pizza places near us in Lauderdale she said Peters Pizza. I said really, thats what I have written down in my list! Peter took the time and explained everything that was going on there, and there is a lot. We have been to where his beginnings started on Long Island. This is the real deal. All top quality ingredients, I mean really good ingredients. It is super clean , and a restaurant owner that takes the time and explained everything to us. Pride! …All you locals are very lucky to have him. If you try his pizza I’m sure you will have a new favorite! This is right up there with Antico’s of Atlanta and Umberto’s of Long Island.

Tried this place the week between Christmas and New Year’s. First, was super impressed they were open late when all of the other NY style pizza places in the area were closed. Walked in and Peter (the owner) was there himself! Saw a grandma pie on the menu and we had to get it (I’m a native New Yorker so I live on grandma pies). Peter made it fresh for us and it was truly a masterpiece! The crust was perfectly thin and crispy (no thick doughy crust the way other places claiming to be NY style butcher it). The sauce was amazing and not too acidic or sweet. The cheese was super fresh and browned perfectly. It was finished with fresh grated parm (that we literally saw Peter grate) – in a way that a lot of places in NY don’t even do anymore.
Really appreciated the quality and service of this place. Overall, a great choice to satisfy native NY’ers in South Florida with a pizza craving, without a flight to NY! You need to try this place !

Best Pizza in Fort Lauderdale. Peter and team give incredible attention to detail and authenticity. As a native Floridian turned New Yorker I can tell you this pizza easily rivals the greats in NY. They also have very generous hours. Will be frequenting whenever I’m in town.
