This place is hard to rate.

We showed up for our reservation on time and waited 30 minutes to be seated. They were apologetic but, worth noting.

Our server was terrible unfortunately. He spoke to us once and never again. He saw him around the room and he didn’t stop to see how we were doing. Again, not a huge deal to me because the food was incredible but if I’d have an issue I’d be screwed. There were other members of staff walking around that were helpful but, our server did not take care of us.

The restaurant is cozy but loud. It was our first time there but you could tell that folks go there religiously. It was super energetic and we could not hear each other. I almost liked the atmosphere it felt like an aunts house on thanksgiving.

Now the food was near-perfect. We ordered the crab cake and bruschetta to start – both were delicious. Crab cake was hot and fresh, the crab was delicate, moist and flavorful while the bruschetta was perfectly portioned and seasoned.

I ordered the penne arrabiata pasta – I added chicken, it was fresh and hot, incredibly tasty, the sauce had a kick but it was not spicy and the chicken was tender and juicy. 10/10 pasta.

My husband got the chicken parm and a side of garlic and oil noodles. He said his food was warm but not hot, wasn’t an issue with him because the parm was delicious – huge portion of chicken and a nice balanced cheese to chicken ratio, chicken was breaded nicely and tasted fresh and the noodles were a nice additional touch to his meal, but nothing to write home about. He also rated his 9/10.

We’d only ever order takeout from here.

We just love this place and come here often. It’s a family business, and we feel like family when we visit. The food, wine, and people are wonderful. They have a huge wine selection and sell it at retail store prices, not restaurants, so you can try some really exceptional wines for a good value. They also have a private room for parties that can accommodate up to 25 people.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Service and food are amaizing. 0rivate room for business and special occasions dinner. Amaizing selection of wines and the owner Giuseppe Zouzo is always available for recommendations and help with great wine selection.

A MUST try.

Anacapri Italian Restaurant is a true delight! Their pizza is delicious with a perfect crust, and the penne pasta is cooked just right—full of flavor and satisfying. The calamari is crispy and fresh, a great starter to the meal. What really stood out was the awesome service; the staff was attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even better. Highly recommend!

Be Careful-Unfair Trade Practice
Actually, it’s not all about the food. Please read this patiently; it’s a very important review. They have a market next to the restaurant. We were buying olive oil from that market; they have three options in different qualities: $20, $25, and $30 for 1 liter (100cl). I am adding a photo of the bottles, so please refer to that as well. They’re advertising, “Bring your bottle for a refill.” We had two 100cl bottles, and when one was finished, we refilled it using the other one. Today, when we brought our 100cl bottle for refilling, they wanted it back to give us a new bottle (we thought it was kind). However, the lady opened the bottle filled and packed by herself; we paid $30 for 1 liter (100cl)—that is also in the photos. When we came home and put the new bottle next to the old one, we noticed that the new one is narrower, smaller, and has a lower volume. When we checked the volume, it was 92cl—8cl means 80ml lower than the previous bottle. In another way of saying it, they are selling 92cl of olive oil for $30; actually, the liter’s new price is $32.60. In other words, they are committing fraud regarding the amount they sell. This is an obvious “Unfair Trade Practice.” More importantly, when we went back to discuss this with both bottles, the receipt says $30 for 1 liter. The manager confronted my wife and shouted, treating us as if we were the ones who were wrong. When we showed both bottles and the different volumes being sold for the same price, he couldn’t say anything more and tried to offer a replacement instead of refilling our bottle. He thought we did not understand Italian and used slang terms. He said Americans wouldn’t understand this, questioning why we were being so sensitive, and rudely asked if we were French. They offered a 17ml replacement in a plastic sauce cup and tried to send us back. Everything is documented in photos. Please refer to that. Long story short, they changed the bottles from 100cl/71mm diameter to 92cl/58mm diameter, but they are still selling them at the same price: $30 for 1 liter. This is more than just unfair trade; it’s a legal issue, and we have already begun reporting it. We just wanted to make our community aware of this.

I love Anacapri❣️✨ ✨Great ambiance, heartwarming atmosphere with so great food. Feels like in traveling to an Italian restaurant! I’ve been coming here for years with loved ones, at parties, and even by myself to relax in the bars too! Meet the Papa and Mama, and owner Andrea! They are beautiful people

First time here and last time! We had high hopes for a good traditional Italian place but it was a big disappointment. We had 6 different staff members tend to us and no it was not good because we really only saw our waiter one time! The best food items were the carrot soup and the pistachio desert. We order lasagna, eggplant parmigiana that comes without spaghetti(first for me) lobster ravioli and chicken picata. None of the food was great just average. I hope they improve service and food.

I’ve been here a few times. The food is always great. The service is so-so.
Today I went for a lunch with friends. The waiter was kind of a mess. He couldn’t get our orders right, kept forgetting things. Didn’t offer cream with the coffee. Didn’t offer dessert or coffee after our meals. Didn’t come by to refill waters. Got our orders mixed up. We had to repeat everything several times. I’m not sure if he was just having a bad day, or what…
The food was great though.
We had calamari, a chicken Cesar salad, a AnaCapri salad, a salmon on arugula salad, the rigatoni, and a seafood pasta dish.
Our bills were reasonable. I had a chicken Cesar, a coffee, and a glass of wine and my bill was $32.
I would go again, but hopefully I’ll have a different waiter next time.

I have to say I have not had authentic Italian cuisine in a very long time. The food was incredible and the service was also spectacular. One of my favorite Parts is that you can go around the restaurant and pick your own wine and bring it to your table.
