This is my second time going to this backyard burger location on Park ave! I should have learned from the first incident! Took my food back that first time; however, today I purchased the cheese burger combo. It was packed with mayo, let me just say it was terrible! Not only that I ordered the peach cobbler, and it was cold and the peaches were way too hard to even break off to eat with the crust, well it was barely enough of that! I was only my home and was not worth driving all the way back! I don’t like wasting my money that I work to hard for! I didn’t take a pic of the sandwich because I was too upset. I just threw it away. This location will not get my hard earned money again!

Drive thru speaker wasn’t working and there was no sign stating so. I pulled up to window after waiting and the lady was extremely pleasant. The peach cobbler they gave me was so burnt I couldn’t eat it though. Still happy to have one last backyard burger around. They make the best burgers!

I had not had a backyard burger in what must have been 20 years. Didn’t even realize that there was still one in Memphis when i saw this gem while doing some Christmas shopping at Eastgate and am glad i did. The burger was soooo good. Just like i remembered! Best fast food burger you will ever have! The red onion, and bib lettuce were so fresh and it looked like a burger from a commercial. God bless these people for still running a quality business!

I went through the drive through I ordered a #2 double cheeseburger combo large and I told the woman that took my order I want my meat fresh off the grill and fresh hot fries witch I didn’t get fresh meat I asked for or hot fries it is very sad that the customer pays ALOT of money for food out and can not get what they ordered and this not the first time I been to the location and requested something and didn’t get it people that work in the restaurants industry today do not care I think management should be responsible for their staff and not getting what they paid for I only of two in back yard burgers Memphis Metropolitan area still in Shelby county and the back yard burgers on hwy 64 the service and food is a lot better I can request fresh meat off the grill and request fresh hot fries and not a problem and the staff are more friendlier and theybact more professional and they care about good good customer service food now is sky rocket high now at restaurants and the supermarkets it is so sad that customers can get what they requested when bordering their food and these staff try to cut corners because they don’t care and want their customers gone

This place is gross. Thought I would try it again after it reopened and it’s still gross. Ordered a Bacon Cheddar burger combo w/ fries and a lemonade. The burger patty was cold, the fries tasted like the frying oil was old, and the lemonade was disgusting. How do you screw up lemonade. This was always the worst BYB in the city, every location is closed now but this is the one they decided to reopen? Won’t be going back.

I visited this location on a Sunday afternoon when the weather was clear and my hunger was calling. I ordered the Hawaiian Chicken sandwich and I was so thoroughly disappointed. Both the top and bottom buns of bread were soggy and mushy with some black water type sauce.

Every time I’ve dared to come here, the burgers are burned, yet cold when you receive them, the fries are soft and soggy as well as the chicken tenders. The cups are jammed packed full of ice, leaving little to drink. Inedible food has been served too many times for me to ever go back and spend $30+ on garbage food
