I’ve been frequenting this Zaxby’s location since I moved here 20 years ago. It used to be good. Within the last year, it has gone totally down hill as far as service and food quality goes. I try it every couple months hoping it improves, but it does not. I think it only gets worse. The food is barely cooked. Chicken is so rubbery, it makes me question if I ever want to eat chicken again. Grease has been dripping from my food the last few times I ate there. I asked the guy at the window for ketchup for a Zax snack meal. He hands me one packet. I look at him and he’s just standing there looking confused. I’m like “can I have more ketchup? You only gave me one..” and he hands me one more so I’m looking at him again awkwardly and he’s looking confused again. I’m like “give me three more please..” like why do I have to keep asking? Three times ago, I had to take our huge order back into the store from the drive thru because it was so undercooked. They tried to say it just looked like that because they got new grease. That was not the case whatsoever. They were rude and didn’t want to refund us so we had to wait for them to cook everything again and it was STILL undercooked. I’ve heard several people saying they’ve gotten sick from eating there within the last few months or so. I won’t be going back to this location until they advertise that it’s under new management or something.

Zaxbys has really let themselves go. If you don’t believe it go to the one in Blairsville Georgia and order a kickin chicken sandwich. They barely put enough sauce on them for you to taste it. I’ve included a picture of the bottom piece of bread to give you an idea.

This past Sunday my friend and I decided we would order some Zaxby’s to take home. We used the online ordering thinking it would be faster, it had the option to pick up at the drive thru window but when we finally get up to the speaker we were told to come in. I proceeded to go in and no order, I stood in line and asked the counter person who said it was almost ready. I then watched as people who ordered at drive thru and the counter after we had been there given their orders, I then again asked and was told they were waiting on chicken as more orders of chicken were given out. When we placed our order it said our order would be ready by 12:03, it was 12:20 by the time we got our order. By then the ice was melted in our drinks, Some of the food was pretty much cold and the salad warm. I’m not sure what the issue was but this pretty much put me off Zaxby’s and especially online ordering.

I have been on a very strict diet and have been ordering the Blue Zalad for my main meal of the day. It has enough spice to make me feel like I am not eating diet food and is large enough to make me full and satisfied. I’ve managed to lose between 40 and 45 lbs this way!!

I ordered a Zensation salad. The egg roll was absolutely burnt to a crisp. It was placed on the salad so that the worst part was on the under side. I can’t believe they would have the nerve to place such a thing on a customer’s salad. Makes me wonder what else they do & hide, or try to hide. Wish I could post the pictures I took.

The food was very messy and just thrown in the Togo box we got a whole bunch of Meals and got very small portions of fries in every box, they were throwing stuff at customers and when we asked for a drink carrier it got thrown at us I’m very disappointed in this visit this is the first time I’ve had a bad experience with zaxbys the cashier was VERY rude and had bad customer service,her name was Jacqueline And then the cook forgot a whole meal so we had to ask for it again,and there was very little chicken in that meal that they missed. It was veryyyy disappointing when we got home and realized how our food looked.definitely need better customer service we did not enjoy the experience there.also our sauce wasn’t on our food it was on the outside of our bread? It was very messy too eat with sauce going everywhere bc it wasn’t even on the food it was on the outside of the buns??

ALWAYS check your order before leaving this location!! Rarely do we get our order done correctly- wrong drinks, plain fries, unmelted oversalted grilled cheese, missing items…. These pics do NOT do this review justice!! The food looks darker than what it actually is. This is the 3rd time we have ordered Wings and Things and recieved wings like this. The chicken is just cooked, but the skin is still loose and flimsy like the skin on your arm. The sauce barely stays on the skin. I wiped these with my finger, but left one to show how lightly they are sauced. I called the store and was told to order our wings extra crispy. I don’t want extra crispy- just cook them right. I’m currently waiting on the DM who is at the location now to call me back. The fries are always flimsy! Once again we will be cooking our fried chicken and fries in the oven and finish making our meal.
